A friend and I recently visited Kincaid’s in Bloomington, MN, for a birthday lunch after not having been there in several years. It was terrific!

The atmosphere is a breath of fresh air, especially during the long Minnesota winters. Expansive two-story windows line one side of the restaurant, filling the space with beautiful natural light and creating an airy, open feel. A soothing water feature adds the gentle sound of trickling fountains, making the environment feel calm and relaxing.

The food was just as impressive. We shared the oven-roasted crab and artichoke dip with crusty baguette slices, which was a delicious way to start. My friend ordered the salmon sandwich, and I chose the open-faced crab sandwich — both were excellent.

To celebrate the birthday, we shared a crème brûlée and enjoyed cappuccinos, which perfectly capped off a lovely and memorable meal.

If you haven’t visited Kincaid’s recently — or ever — it’s well worth a stop. It’s a wonderful lunch spot with a spacious ambiance, plenty of seating, and fantastic service (special shout-out to Drew!).

Once again, Kincaid’s in Bloomington, MN did not disappoint—this is fine dining at its absolute finest!

The ribeye was perfectly cooked, juicy, and bursting with flavor, while the fresh fish options (we tried two) were mouthwatering masterpieces. Every bite? A genuine foodgasm moment.

The extensive drink menu is world-class—every cocktail I’ve had here is incredible, balanced, and memorable. And the crème brûlée? Wow. Pure perfection with that crisp torch-kissed top and silky vanilla custard.

Service is flawless—attentive, knowledgeable, perfectly timed, and genuinely warm. Every detail is executed with precision.

Highly recommend Kincaid’s for a truly elevated, unforgettable dining experience. I’ll be back—every time I’m in the Twin Cities.

It may not be near the shopping and entertainment in the area, but Kincaid’s is a great fine dining option. It’s great if you’re on your way back from a tour at Paisley Park! The atmosphere is upscale and sophisticated, and the restaurant is situated on the ground floor of an office building, with water features and lots of natural lighting throughout! Our waitress, Abby, was fantastic, offering attentive service! And lastly, the food was excellent! Kincaid’s is known for their prime rib, and for good reason, too! Paired with the mashed potatoes, it was a fantastic and flavorful meal! The seafood trio and crème brûlée were also great! A fantastic fine dining option!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kincaid’s for a late Valentine’s Day meal with my girlfriend, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we walked in, the host was efficient and our server, Emma, was fantastic. It was our first time at Kincaid’s, and Emma made the entire process so smooth, explaining the menu options and offering great recommendations.

For my entrée, I ordered the salmon, which was cooked to perfection. It was beautifully paired with creamy mashed potatoes and crisp asparagus, creating a perfect balance of flavors. My girlfriend went with the chicken dijon, and it was absolutely incredible.

We also had the pleasure of enjoying the free bread service, which was warm and soft, and really set the tone for the meal. As if that wasn’t enough, Emma surprised us with complimentary crème brûlée for dessert, and it was a delightful ending to an already amazing meal. The crème brûlée had a perfectly caramelized top with a smooth, velvety custard inside. It was simply awesome.

Overall, Kincaid’s made our late Valentine’s Day celebration a memorable one. The food was outstanding, the service was top-notch, and We can’t wait to return for another fantastic meal!

I was quite disappointed with our dinner last night. We had a large party of 14. Reservations had been made several weeks in advance, giving ample time to staff and prepare. Despite having a guest with a walker, we were seated at the farthest back corner of the restaurant. The soft drinks were served almost immediately, while alcoholic beverages took 20+ minutes to arrive. The lighting was poor and the lettering on the menu was miniscule and in a pale font, making it very difficult to read. Bread was served once, and when it was gone, was never replaced. I ordered my steak well-done. The server asked if it could be butterflied, which I said was fine. When my meal arrived, my steak was neither butterflied, nor well-done. The bearnaise sauce, which I paid extra for, was served in a small ketchup-cup. It was runny, not creamy, and tasted like straight vinegar. I was not offered soup or salad. The plate presentation was bland and boring. The serving size for the $27 pasta dish that my partner ordered was small and had very little Italian sausage in it. It consisted of mostly noodles and sauce. Throughout the meal, which was quite long, our server did not return to ask how our food was or to offer drink refills. My drink was refilled only once when the meal was delivered, after which it had already sat empty for quite some time. Multiple pieces of unused drinkware were left on the already cluttered table until well into our meal, and our dinner was disrupted again by the placing of additional plates and silverware at each setting which served no purpose and were eventually cleared away, untouched and unused. In an economy where we personally choose not to dine out as frequently as we once did, we are selective in where we spend our hard-earned money in hopes of a stellar experience. Kincaid’s left us wanting more. Much, much more.

I came here for New Year’s Eve dinner and I enjoyed it. I really like the location. It’s so beautiful. It is a little tricky to find if you’ve never been there before, but it’s inside of like a business tower and you go like around the building and you’ll see a little parking garage and you park in there and then you can walk right to the door and it’ll take you to inside the building and then you walk down some steps and there is the restaurant. All I know, I have lovely experience. I will say that the fettuccine dinner I ate needed more seasoning. It didn’t have enough seasoning for my taste but other than that, it was such a nice place. I can’t wait to go back again.

This is my go-to birthday dinner place. The selection and flavor of the seafood is outstanding. The atmosphere is sophisticated and quiet; parking is easy, and there is just enough burbling fountain sound in the restaurant. Our server Kat was incredibly kind and attentive and really brought it all together!

Very pricey, which we expected, but I also expected a more elevated dining experience (something closer to the Saint Paul Grill). We didn’t get that.
Service was average at best, and the seating felt cramped—like they were packing too many people into the space. The food was fine but nothing special, and the drink options weren’t impressive. I ordered an old-fashioned and it was easily the sweetest I’ve ever had. Didn’t even finish it.
Overall, not worth the price point.

I made a reservation to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we had a good dining experience. Our bread did came a bit later than the tables that came after us. We ordered the crispy calamari for our starter which was shareable. For our entrees, we ordered the Slow Roasted Herb Crusted Prime Ribs and Crab & Shrimp Fettuccini. We love the taste of the creamy fettuccine however we did noticed the shrimp was not deveined well.

Will definitely pay another visit soon.

Gorgeous place and in a unique area within the 8400 tower. We are so happy we were able to come across this restaurant and have a romantic evening. I ordered the chicken Dijon with mashed potatoes and greens, which was absolutely phenomenal! 5 ⭐️ dish.
My husband ordered the Canadian walleye with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. 4 ⭐️ dish. The walleye was a little expensive for the small serving they gave.
We also ordered the molten chocolate cake, which was served with berries, whipped cream, topped with pistachios. Again, rating this one, a 4 ⭐️ because there was no molten to this chocolate cake, as it was very spongy in the middle – not sure why it was called a molten chocolate cake. Disappointed on that. I would be able to agree on the price, had it actually been molten.

Overall, we had a wonderful visit, and we look forward to returning. The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous and there is a bar separate of the restaurant which makes this place a very hot spot. I definitely recommend stopping in and trying them out.
