I tried three different dishes. All 3 were easily amongst the best Thai cuisine I’ve ever tasted. They have a seriously talented chef / prep team here.
Tom yum and tom kha soups – again, some of the tastiest I’ve had. I’d recommend the food 10/10.
The only thing I was thoroughly displeased with was the “up charges”. I am picky. Waiters probably despise taking my orders. But hey, I didn’t choose my taste buds.
With that said they modified my meal perfectly as requested. Which is fairly uncommon. So I really appreciated that.
And the waiter notified me that replacing the “standard” veggies with potatoes and carrots would induce an up-charge. (Digressing here I really think it’s silly that if I swap vegetables for other on-hand ingredients there is an up-charge at all. It isn’t like these are pre-prepared dishes that they have to go to all this trouble to modify for my picky butt. It’s literally chopping up potatoes instead of onions and tossing them in the pan)
But regardless of that digressing opine the amount – $4 to add potatoes. $4 to add carrots… I literally paid an appetizer price tag for potatoes and carrots
The waiter did not go so far as to tell me how much the up charge was at the time, and perhaps that is on me. But nonetheless, I was shocked. Most places charge me like $.50 or a dollar. For both to be swapped out
So if you aren’t picky, and you love Thai food, this should be your new absolute go to hotspot
The place is a bit crowded when full, but intimate. Would recommend
We split masiman chicken and got it with medium heat but it was too hot for both of us! And I love spicy food! Still a great place
I highly recommend and will go back when I’m in the area.
