I don’t know who is reviewing this cafe with 1 star unless they are competition from someone else. We have eaten there several times and the brunch buffet is always OUTSTANDING! For the $11.99 All You Can Eat Brunch, you get eggs w/cheese, country bacon, sausage patties, white gravy, country fried chicken, bisquits, toast, fried potatoes, fried chicken, brisket, mashed potatoes and gravy, at least 2 other veggies, today the soup was cream of chicken (they often change the meat selection on the brunch from week to week to offer variety, but fried chicken is weekly I believe), they also have a salad bar with everything on it plus cole slaw and potato salad, plus a dessert. They also have a full bar at reasonable prices. As far as the decorations, it is an adorable country themed restaurant. If there is an event going on and they are charging for parking, you just tell them you are going to the Cafe and there is no charge! They also have a full menu and appetizers and there are menus at EVERY table. I apologise that this is lengthy, but when I read others reviews, I was truly shocked! In all the times my husband and I, other family members and friends have gone, NONE of us have ever had a bad meal or complaint. I also took pictures of the inside when I was there once because I thought it was so comfortable and cute.

Been here before and it was really good . Today not so much . They no longer have the breakfast buffet so you have to order off the limited menu .
Ordered the Belgian waffles. Overcooked and dry . Like eating sawdust . Butter for the waffles is frozen solid . Really disappointing
Biscuits and gravy were ok needed salt and pepper for sure .

You walk in a stranger, walk out a friend! Good food served with hustle, care, and spun with love. As if you were sitting in their home.

This was our first visit to the restaurant. Being a fish fry Friday during lent we wanted to try something new. We ordered to go so we could eat at home. While the food was ready, EVERYTHING was over cooked. The fish was tough and dried out. The French fries were over cooked and so were the hush puppies. Everything had a terrible taste. We won’t be going back. So sad.

Called ahead to find out what time Brunch started. Told 10am. Arrive at 10:10, sit down and hear a lady behind the register freaking out that the lunch items are not on the buffet. After going to the kitchen she sends a server to our table to offer us the breakfast buffet or we can order off the menu. We told her we called ahead and we are told Brunch started at 10. She lied and told us it didn’t start until 11. I’m in the business, I get it, things happen. But do not lie to your guests. Very disappointing!

This past Thursday the fried chicken was awful, tasted fishy. You could even smell the fishy smell outside. I suspect that they used the same fry oil from friday lent fish fries. Now every other time has been great chicken. I will try them one more time after lent is over.

Decent/ average breakfast food. Scrambled Eggs are better than Denny’s eggs. Bacon greasy enough to notice and comment to a friend but still flavorful. Breakfast chicken pretty good with there homemade gravy. Everything is seasoned well but to get 4 stars they should become more organized and prepared. This establishment focuses on their breakfast/ lunch buffet but they kept running out of product. I don’t think they were prepared as much as usual and this is giving credit because it was my first time here and I don’t know what they are like on a normal basis. Also my family and I came I think when they were trying to lean off the breakfast items and focus more on their lunch items because lunch came to the buffet shortly before we left.
To reiterate; supply and demand is the key to a successful business. As a chef myself, the worse experience to expect from a consumer is when the food runs out and they have to wait. The quality of the food is important but not as much as the quantity. I can sit and eat and think “yeah this is ok food” but if I hungry I’m going to get up and get more. And then if their out of biscuits (which they were) or another item (which they were out of several different items) than I will concentrate my experience on the fact that they weren’t prepared and had “ok” food.
Overall I would come back here cause their wasn’t a wait time on a Sunday morning and sometimes I just want a “ok” breakfast. The waitresses are nice and the establishment is pretty clean. The only other negative comment I would say is the maze to get to the restaurant. The restaurant is located on the back side of an auction building and the auction building is behind a rural king store which you have to go behind the receiving docks and over a gravel parking lot to get too. You can easily see the restaurant from the highway but if you don’t glance over to look at it while your driving at 55 mph your gps will confuse you and might take you off road. Definitely think you all should get a entrance made to the front of your restaurant. It would definitely bring in more hungry customers.

Long wait to get my breakfast. Waffle was good. Family said Buffet was luke warm though they offered to make fresh. You order at register. Accommodating employees.

Showed up with my family and we were stopped at the gate by someone trying to charge us a fee to park, as there was an auction at the Event Center that day. I understand there are events at this location but there needs to be a separate entrance for the cafe. I can’t see how this is anything but bad for business, especially when the entrance to the place is hidden behind another property. To any potential clientele, pass this place up and go eat at Eckert’s instead.

Great meal and a great price. Breakfast buffet all you can eat is 7.99, and if you go on Sunday you can get a brunch that includes lunch items as well. Definitely a good and dependible stop.
