Two days ago, my wife and got a chance to try a new a Ramen spot while in Elk Grove Rd. Lol… we thought it was closed because it said open online, but when we arrived.. it was dark. We wondered why ppl were standing around for a closed spot, but it opens at 5pm. It opens for lunch, then closes.. then opens for dinner.
We are so glad that we stuck around thanks to my wife’s intuition to just wait and see what happens. Their food was delicious. We had fried boneless chicken w/ Spicy mayo and ginger sauce on the side, shrimp tempura, my wife had the seafood ramen and I had the T. White with lean pork belly.
We even saw Lovely Mimi ate here and loved it too. They had a video of her reviewing the food. She look satisfied and we were most definitely satisfied fully too.
It was well worth the wait. We will definitely go back to enjoy again.

This was my first time trying Ramen from a restaruant and it was pretty good. But at 17 bucks for a bowl it is better to split it with a friend.

Ramen was good. Probably the best I’ve had but I’ve only had homemade ramen and Ramen 101 from Stockton, CA. Their other dishes like TanTanDon were really good recommend getting that. My gf got the Tonkotsu Red it was creamy and quite flavorful.

Visited just before 5:30 PM, just after they opened for dinner, and we had the place to ourselves, which is always a nice way to start a meal. The service was fast and friendly, and the staff made us feel welcome right away. It was quiet, no overwhelming loud music.
We tried three different ramen bowls: the tantanmen, spicy miso ramen, and miso ramen. Hands down, the tantanmen was the star of the night. It was rich, flavorful, with just the right kick of spice. Highly recommend it.
The spicy miso ramen was okay, not bad, but a bit underwhelming in flavor compared to the tantanmen. The miso ramen was our least favorite, it felt a little flat and lacked the depth we were hoping for.
Overall, Kotteri Ramen is worth a visit, especially for the tantanmen and the great service. We’ll be back.

I actually ordered mine and had it delivered through grub hub but the broth was so delicious and rich in flavor I just had to post a review. I’ve had plenty of ramen from other places where I never finish the broth but from this place I sipped ever last drop! Hands down the best ramen in the area.

I decided to try a ramen on their special, the gyuniku ramen. I was extremely content with the food! The beef brisket was tender and flavorful. The broth was moderately savory without being too heavy or oily. And the noodles were perfect, with just the right chewiness and bounce to them.
Would recommend and would definitely go back!

I had the tonkotsu white ramen. It was a nice flavor, rich and creamy. The service was good but there was a bit of confusion as to who’s dish was who’s because we just weren’t sure what they looked like so we had to ask what each dish was a they brought it to us and one of the staff was new so a bit of a guessing game. Its a small place but we went around 1130 am so no problem getting a table. Its the sort of place you grab a quick bite to eat with friends.

I had lunch with my friends here. We ordered chicken karaage to share. I got cold noodle today and the noodle is good, egg is flavored and pork is yummy too. It’s just the dipping sauce for the cold noodle is a bit too salty. I didn’t use much at all.
