I was told this was a great place for catfish, I had to try it. I wanted the crayfish but it wasn’t in season.
We got there right before the dinner rush and it was as busy. After we ordered and sat down is when it happened, people came in, couldn’t find a table and walked out. They should have ordered anyway!
The food here was great, it did not disappoint! I ordered the spicy catfish with hushpuppies and fries. All of it was seasoned well and for having catfish for the first time, I thought it was pretty good.

This was my first visit near closing time and the staff remained welcoming. Take your time!! Courteous.. fish and shrimp was ordered. The food was hot and had flavoring that was on point. The place also offers frozen alcoholic beverages at the bar. On Wednesday there is All you can eat so I will return.

As a lifer to the Landshark,I have to give Riley and Caroline their flowers for allowing us to finish watching the conclusion of the Fiesta Bowl. They could’ve shut it down,but they didn’t. Even though the rebs were defeated,I met some colorful characters while sitting at the bar. That’s what I love about the place besides the food.The people you meet. It’s different every time. They’re authentic. Thank you again. I’ll be back for crawfish season.

We always visit handshakes when we come to Oxford! Unfortunately I was. A little disappointed red this time. My husband got crawfish to go because I am recovering from surgery. When my daughter and I were at home eating crawfish I was dismayed to find a lot of crawfish pieces vs crawfish to eat. What I did eat was amazing but I feel a bit nipped at paying for it per pound when I kept getting pieces that I couldn’t eat.

7-21– 2 month update. Maybe it’s the change in season, or the students being less, but the food has changed. Quantities are considerably less- provided photos of the same shrimp mac for comparrison, and the seasoning is so heavy that it smothers all the flavor to death on the seafood. If you like Rum try the Pina Colda it is packed full of Rum. Hush puppies are ok and you get a decent little basket in an order.

Food was awesome. Very nice and considerate over the phone when I called with questions. Only thing I wasn’t thrilled with was that the price nearly doubled with delivery. There’s gotta be a better way ( like in house delivery employees like pizza places lol). Ordered the catfish plate, one southern and one Cajun, and it was amazing. Not over cooked and seasoned just right.

We really enjoyed the food here. Our food was delicious, and we will definitely be back. Everything was very good except the corn on the cob. Im not sure if it was the butter or the seasoning on it wasn’t good.
