The chicken tikka was amazing, it’s was very juicy and flavorful. The nan bread was very good as well. It was my first time there and the gentleman at the register was patient and kind enough to explain the best choices. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying them out!!! Thank you for the great food.

Having just moved here from Wilmington NC a few months ago & deeply missing my absolute favorite Indian restaurants I was so excited to hear about the Do Drop In. We pulled in to a quaint lil gas station & thought…wellll…here we go. But even as we parked, we could tell this was unlike any gas station we had ever been to. I just marveled at all the yummy pictures they had displayed on their wall outside & when we stepped out of the car I almost cried! We could smell curry from right there in the parking lot! I wanted to order EVERYTHING. Everyone who worked there was so nice…definitely a family run atmosphere. We had a very comfortable & enjoyable dinner in the front porch…it was a lovely evening. We cannot wait to go back & are so so so thankful the Do Drop In is here…we will definitely drop in again❣️

Probably the best and only Indian food within driving distance of Rocky Mount. Well worth the trip. The owner was so pleasant and helpful. He could tell that my wife was having problems with the spices and brought her out two cookies to help reduce the burn. Thank you! Make sure to bring a huge appetite! The portions are too big for one person, IMO.

This is an awesome place for something to eat packed with flavor! Does it look like a gas station mart from the outside? Yes, but Do Drop In! Mike has an amazing operation going on here, his hospitality was seen with every customer as from the most gangster looking customer who ordered 6 of their delicious fresh baked chocolate chunk cookies and left to a lady who had ordered dinner and while she waited Mike treated her to an icy lemonade on the house. Myself and another gentleman were there after seeing a TikTok on the place. After ordering, Mike treated us to a special India Chai tea on the house. Rich with spices, it was fantastic. I ordered the Chicken Jalfrezi on a level 4 heat, I like it spicy so be warned if you like heat go to 5 if you don’t like any heat stay at a 1-3. I ordered savory naan bread with it and it came with the rice. Everything cooked to perfection and Mike was such a great host to me. I did have a cookie and was given another that I brought home to my son, needless to say it was delicious! I learned that Mike’s family are in the spice industry and all spices are sourced from his family in India. You can taste every bit of those spices in the food, I hate mushrooms and while I could of ordered the food without I wanted to experience the flavors. I’d of never known there were mushrooms as the spices and flavors carry. Food was enough to eat and for a full on lunch the next day. Hidden behind the chip bags and snacks is a great seating area or you can take a bar stool like i did. Super happy to have gone to this 10/10 establishment.

And the best part it is AUTHENTIC not like going to hibachi or Chinese restaurants and it be Spanish people cooking and working!!! True Indian cuisine made by their own people!! Wow! This gem blew me away. Everything was delicious. The owner, Mr. Patel was so delightful and the gentleman who brought our food was so kind. The carrot pudding was the icing on a delicious dinner.
The best part of this was my hubby and I got to have the food we wanted and so did our kiddos. My oldest had yummy hot dogs and my youngest got a cheeseburger.

Food is always so good and fresh!! Service is much like a restaurant rather than a convenience store! The Do Drop In is neat and clean and offers and awesome outdoor patio! They also have beer on top and an awesome variety of American food and Indian food that is to die for!!! Their breakfast menu is great as well with lots of options!
