Relaxed, open super late, excellent Indian food with a wide variety. The owner(?) was helpful, friendly, and careful about sanitation in the kitchen. The tomatoes soup is flavourful.

Don’t visit if you want to waste money then go.
No hygiene, cleanliness nor freshness. I wish If there was rating in minus also.
I totally regret spending my 30$ here.
By far the worst place to eat in ottawa.
I would say it’s a disgrace to indian food,
the kitchen and the utensils in which food was prepared looked like they have’nt been washed for years and about taste, the food has no taste at all it only had chillies in it to make it spicy. Really bad experience. I don’t even know how you guys are still in business. Idk what kind of poutine he made but after eating this my trust from poutine fade away and same goes for biryani, I literally had to throw it in garbage. Total waste of money.

Felt the need to share so others can be aware of what state the beef vindaloo comes in. Had to fish out a sickening amount of oil from my dish. Pictures show the amount of oil swimming on just ONE dish. Poor quality meat was used, many pieces were fatty and they were pretty tough and not tender.

I ordered chili chicken, noodles, pakoras, naan bread, and vegetable korma.

The chili chicken ($13.99) tasted alright but the portion was incredibly small. The container in the attached picture is very shallow and peppers actually took up a good amount of space.

The noodles ($10.99) taste like instant noodles (maybe they are?). Do not recommend! Go to the grocery store and pay $1 for instant noodles instead.

The pakoras ($3.99) were cold but tasted alright.

The naan bread ($2.99) was good but expensive for single piece of naan bread.

The vegetable korma ($11.99) was good but spicy (asked for mild).

Overall I don’t recommend going here. It’s expensive and you don’t get a lot of food for your money.

To the owners, increase your portion sizes or lower the prices. In Toronto you can get chili chicken on noodles for $12.50 (huge portion).

This restaurant doesn’t deserve any stars. Horrible! Never had food this bad, ever! We ordered through DoorDash. The naan was burnt and raw at the same time. The samosas had no stuffing and the dough was raw. The butter chicken had 3 tiny pieces of chicken in a bunch of sauce and the tandoori chicken was a 1/3 portion, greasy and burnt. I don’t see how this place can possibly last! Avoid at all cost

I have much higher hakka standards than this. Chicken corn soup should be much thicker, and the color is off. Chilli chicken was a poor portion and way too spicy. Gravy game needs some work too… Somebody please open up some good Asian restaurants in Ottawa!!!!

“The food was swimming in a pool of oil, as if they were trying to deep fry my meal in a bathtub. Not only was it a heart attack waiting to happen, but the taste was drowned out by the overwhelming greasiness. To add insult to injury, everything was overcooked to the point of resembling charcoal, devoid of any semblance of flavor. A culinary disaster I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy.”

There are some amazing places that don’t look the part. This unassuming place is worth every penny and then some. The saag paneer is creamy, achari gosht was fragrant and tender, butter chicken was juicy and oh so good! The classic combo platter is a great entrée to share. It includes some of the best pakuras and bhajis I’ve ever had.

I tried 3 items at this restaurant. Chicken Biriyani, vegetable Biriyani, Kashmiri Pulav.
Pathetic experience.
Chicken Biriyani: Basmathi rice well cooked and chicken pieces. Rice grains were yellow and red; color full. Didn’t understand from which angle this is called a biriyani.
Kashmiri Pulav: same rice as chicken biriyani and one dry fruit on it! The chef needs to either learn Kashmiri pulav or remove this from the menu.picture added
Vegetable Biriyani: amazingly big pieces of three types of veggies. One is cauliflower, other one was some melon and if you do a treasure hunt you might find beans!sorry if I missed any only get veggie! Taste pathetic. Unlike the other two veg biriyani had a bit of spices! Picture of veg biriyani is added
Please rename the items in the menu!

If you like watery sauce with your chicken and “Kashmiri rice” that is just basmati with dried cranberries on top, this place is for you. Shown below is the “butter chicken” and Kashmiri rice. This isn’t my first time trying this restaurant, but will be my last as the quality has gone significantly downhill in the past year.
