While the environment at this restaurant is lively and enjoyable, my overall experience has been negatively impacted by a persistent mildew odor. On multiple visits, an unmistakable mildew smell was present, which is especially concerning in a dining establishment where cleanliness should be a top priority. Although recent flooding may have contributed to the issue, the lingering odor suggests it has not been fully addressed and requires immediate attention for the health and comfort of guests.

This is a cozy pub to stop in and have a drink and a good meal. The staff is friendly the locals embrace new faces. Very comfortable atmosphere and good prices. We did some holiday shopping on main street and it was the perfect lunch stop in between stores.

This is an awesome pub. The exterior is beautiful and the inside is also nice. They have a dining area, a bar, and a room with darts and pool table. There was one gentleman working so he was stretched but did a great job accommodating everyone. They have a large drink menu. Their food menu is small but it was delicious. They have the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. Their Bloody Mary’s were great! We had a good experience here and will be sure to visit again.

We have been 5 times now, the service is always very slow, food takes in excess of an hour, so be prepared. Out of four meals, three of them were salads and it still took an hour. Today, there were only 4 of us and they added gratuity fees for a large party of 20% as a fee on the bill, not labeled as added gratuity. How many people don’t realize they’ve already been charged gratuity and add more on top. That’s disrespectful to the customers not being up front and a party of 4 isn’t a large party by any definition. We are also not a fan of the allowance of smoking outside where we are eating. We will definitely consider eating elsewhere from now on.

The Sauerkraut Balls are fantastic! I have also had soup there once and it was great. This time I had a salad and it was fine but nothing special. My husband’s burger and onion rings were good. Service was excellent both times I have been there. This time they had an hour wait for food, but they told us right away, we were seated immediately, and our appetizers came out at a reasonable time.

We’ve been to Augusta many times but never had the opportunity to dine at the Augusta Pub, glad we did very friendly staff and fed 3 of us for around $30. The chicken sandwich was delicious and the deluxe cheeseburger was typical of bar food burgers, not spectacular but still pretty good. Fries were very tasty. Nice atmosphere.

I stopped by for dinner and was very disappointed. I’ll start with the positives. We were acknowledged quickly and didn’t wait long for the server to arrive. She was very sweet but inexperienced. There were no clean glasses for our beer. I waited forever for the food, a very cheap frozen pre-made pattie. The pickle was translucent, and the burger didn’t come with the lettuce, tomato, etc.; the blue cheese was a smear of something, and I didn’t eat it. I will not return, which is a shame because Augusta is such a quaint little town that I’ve visited repeatedly since 2006.

Stopped in for lunch. Are at the bar. Jenn the bartender was very nice and engaging..are at the bar. Had the Jenn burgers and the tater kegs. Both very delicious and food came out quick. Lots of seating options. Came back at night sat outside listened to music. Have bar set up outside as well and waitresses for food orders. Definitely be back when back in town

We only went here for drinks. The staff was great and friendly. The prices were very good. Nice ambience and the fireplace is great on a cool fall day.
