I asked if they could write “happy 5th birthday Calvin” on the cake. She said yes and even had me write it down on a paper.
Then she brought this out? If they can’t do the inscription better than my 5 year old can write, why not just say that? When she saw my surprise I was met with “WERE NOT CAKE DECORATORS!!” I mean yes obviously not but if you can’t do a basic inscription just say that.

Stopped by for a quick meal while traveling, the chili cheese dogs were delicious, and the pretzel sticks were too. Food was good, hot and the staff very friendly. I would have rather had a burger but they don’t sell them there. They have a 2 for 5.00 menu too. Restroom was pretty clean and it’s next to a gas station which worked good for a quick pit stop.

I went to this Dairy Queen today 9/26/25 at 5:30 PM and had such a great experience! Veronica was very nice, and the other lady working (I didn’t catch her name unfortunately) was incredibly kind, engaging, and went above and beyond as well. She even ran my Stanley cup out to me in the parking lot after I accidentally left it on the table! Both of them showed excellent customer service skills that you just don’t see often these days. They definitely deserve to be recognized. Plus, the pumpkin Blizzards were amazing and she made sure they looked “pretty” for us as well! 🙂

This is the third time we have come since they reopened and they’re out of something. This time it was vanilla ice-cream. It also smelled very bad when we entered like bleach and old mop water.

Bummed this location doesn’t have a drive thru. It also has a very limited menu with hotdog, chicken sandwich, and pretzels. And ice cream of course!
Guy at the counter was cordial and quick to make the two blizzards. The Oreo Brownie madness was excellent!
3 stars because we were waiting in line, and yet one of the girls was counting the tip cup in the back. But the kicker for me was as the other coworker goes to move the cash out of the way so she can keep making a cake, there was no hand washing in between cake making and money handling. Rookie move. Wash up!

They no longer let you place orders for custom cakes over the phone. You have to pay in store and order the cake 24 hours in advance. I tried to place a cake order (in store) at 5:30pm Tuesday for pickup Wednesday evening. The manager was very disrespectful and said i needed to order 24 hours in advance (which i was trying to do). I then tried to place an order to pickup Thursday and she looked at me and said “I’m off Thursday” then walked to another register to help another customer. Absolutely ridiculous, all I wanted was a cake for my younger sister with cancer and I can’t even get that.

You have a sign outside that says cakes are 10.99. But when you go inside they are 23.99? I ask what’s with that and the lady says they haven’t taken the sign down. Huh? Honor the deal or get rid of the sign. My 4 year old thought he was getting a DQ cake for his birthday. Ruff
