I called Danny’s Carryout right after eating. I got sick immediately no delay, no confusion. I asked for my money back.
The person who answered didn’t speak English, so I couldn’t explain what happened. Today, someone else called me back. He said I didn’t get food poisoning because if I had, everyone would’ve gotten sick. Then he laughed. Tried to make me feel like I was overreacting. Like my experience didn’t matter.
But here’s the reality: food poisoning doesn’t always affect everyone the same way. Sometimes one person gets the bad portion. Sometimes one person’s body reacts faster. That doesn’t make it less real.
I wasn’t asking for jokes. I was asking for accountability. For respect. For a refund. Instead, I got dismissed and mocked.
This isn’t just about food. It’s about how people respond when someone says, “I was harmed.” It’s about listening, not deflecting. Owning responsibility, not making excuses.
I drove all the way from Baltimore and drove back l sick, And I won’t let it be ignored.

The person I spoke with claimed to have over 40 years of experience in food preparation. With that level of experience, he should know that cooked or pre-cooked food must be kept at safe temperatures it can’t be left out. Regardless of how many wings they sell, you can’t pre-cook food and then leave it sitting. That’s a basic food safety rule, and they’re not following it.

At night, the majority of the food is already cooked and all ready. and if you watch their wings they come out a rack where they werell
That young lady that is at the window at night has no customer experience. All she do is yell and usually the only have one person that speak English. And please do not ask them for any extra condiments. If you order 10 wings you only getting one mumbo sauce. Ask for more and they charging you.
They really need a lot of improvements. I would not go back to them on the weekends unless everything else is closed.
They have the money to afford more workers so please get more workers
