I celebrated my birthday here with a large party and it was absolutely perfect. The staff took such amazing care of me and my guests — truly above and beyond.
The food was amazing and my whole group couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. They made the night feel special, and I’m so grateful for the care and hospitality they showed us.

Escondido was one of the few places open on the super snow day dallas had. We ordered take out fajitas and margaritas. The manager we spoke to was great and shared how proud she was of the lean crew they had in the restaurant today. Food was hot, tasty, and it was ready faster than online said it would’ve been ready. Thanks for being open!

If you want real Mexican food DON’T EVER COME HERE PLEASE! And if you want to change your newborn baby’s diaper in a safe changing station don’t also. Let me explain. The food was a freaking disappointment Flautas are not supposed to be presented or even served in tiny bits or even be charged that much if you’re not going to put any beans or rice with it . Search it up do your research and see how it’s actually served. The server barely helped us and when my daughter didn’t like the orange juice he gave us an attitude of why my daughter didn’t like it and didn’t want to get us anything else . Also I had to change my newborn baby’s diaper and for some reason it wasn’t properly secured and it was so heavy it hit my child’s head . Everything went so fast I couldn’t move her she was on my left side of my hip, freaking dangerous it would be nice if there was a sign saying that it’s heavy enough to hurt someone. I had my fair share with different changing stations but that one was the worst horrendous experience of my life worst worst it should never fall that fast at all . I’m usually the person to leave things alone and forget about it but talking about it and remembering got me so mad I had to leave a review for the last time I went there . Waste of money, not even filling , not even real Mexican food and dangerous to change your child’s diaper there and horrible and rude staff who doesn’t even deserve any tips. Please don’t waste your money here there’s better Mexican restaurants out there just come here if you are really wanting to spend your money on stupid things like these .

Great brunch spot, especially on a sunny day because of the patio! We got the elote fritters for an appetizer, which had great flavor, especially with the sauce. The entrees were the perfect size for a meal and for a good price. The carne asada had good flavor and was very tender. We did have a quality issue with the burrito, but we brought this up to the waitress who apologized and handled this matter appropriately and professionally. The donuts are served warm with a cool inner filling. The service was great and it appeared as if the staff helped each other as there were numerous people on the patio tending to patrons. Would definitely recommend eating here!

First time at Escondido and was not disappointed at all. Chicken fajitas and chicken enchiladas were both excellent. Our server was extremely friendly and responsive. Chips and salsa as well as the Margaritas were also very good. Certainly worth a visit, and we will be back!

They did a great job on the atmosphere. Reminds me of several higher end places we visited in Mexico. Food was tasty. We had the taco combo and the enchilada combo. It is encouraged to mix and match the dishes. The triple sampler appetizer was a bit small, but the ranch sauce was very good. They should put that on a salad!

I love the fresh color and innovation of the restaurant. It’s refreshing to see a Tex-Mex restaurant, having a new and innovative approach to decor.
There is a large indoor bar and it spans the outside as well. Nice patio.
Nice selection on the menu, I went with the salmon per the recommendation of our server, it was delicious.
Salsas were delicious as well.
Highly recommend giving them a try!
