As a fellow Indian travelling to Denver, good Indian food was not something I was even expecting. After having tried a couple of different spots, my expectations were guarded.
But this place completely changed my take on this. Most of the crowd in here was… well… not Indian which was not uncommon for Denver.
When we ordered the Kadai Paneer and the Daal Makhni and told them to make it super spicy… they did. And the flavors literally took us back home. This wasn’t just the best Indian food in Denver… but it was one of the Top 10 Indian food we’ve ever had outside of India. It even put some of the places in India to shame.
Super fresh ingredients, made to order unlike most places who have the curries and daals ready. The naan was made fresh as well and not reheated frozen stuff which many restaurants still serve at high pricepoints.
The service was topnotch as well. Ambiance was quite cozy and not super loud despite how busy it got after about 7pm.
Definitely our go-to Indian in Denver… never thought I’d have an Indian spot in Denver I would crave going to again and again.

Perfect place for some amazing warm food! My girlfriend and I are visiting Denver for the first time and this was a STELLAR place to eat. The staff is lovely, the food is out of the world, and the vibe is relaxed. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves Indian and Nepali food. (P.S. GET THE SPIKED MANGO LASSI)

Delicious food, nice atmosphere. Sauces are amazing. Recommend to use softer, higher quality cuts of lamb. Use lamb shoulder instead of lamb leg, will be much nicer,

A bit dissatisfied with the taste. The chowmein was soggy, the chicken was a bit sour. I believe the quality of the chicken was not so good. The chilli chicken and aloo jira was fortunately a bit palatable. Utter disappointment was with Momo. The marinated chicken had too much turmeric. Room for improvement on taste, otherwise the ambience and cleanliness is very good.

This is my favorite place to eat right now and my favorite Indian restaurant in Denver overall. The portions are massive, the drinks are great, and everything i have eaten is so flavorful. This place is magnificent, I crave it again just a few days after my meal!! The staff is so friendly and will help with any questions and pronunciations. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! The chicken biryani is to die for !!!

Just got take out but was impressed with this place overall. We have been having a hard time finding a good Indian place around Denver. The quality and portions felt like a great deal for the price comparatively for the area. Definitely want to eat in some time.

Great experience at Himchuli RiNo! This place has some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had. I recommend the naan garlic bread and any of the appetizers – super filling and delicious. The main cuisines here all look tasty but I personally got the chicken tikka kabob. Absolutely incredible flavor and super filling. My girlfriend got the chicken tikka masala (hot), and she loved it. Will definitely be coming back here. 10/10 spot for incredible Indian/Nepalese cuisine with impeccable service. Good drink options too. Perfect for a meal with friends or a date night.

Tried this last night and so glad I did. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, level 3 but it was too spicy for me. I didn’t tell the waiter but she could tell it was too spicy and offered to remake it for me, they were so nice! The second batch was beyond delicious, mild but with so much flavor! Everything my friends ordered they said were delicious. Garlic naan is super tasty. Great prices too. We will be back!
