First time trying this place, we were just craving a snack and saw it pop up on the app, so we gave it a shot. Honestly, really glad we did! The puff puff was warm, fresh, and delicious, and the plantains were just right, ripe and cooked to perfection. Definitely coming back to try more options.

This is an awesome new restaurant! I love the taste of the food, feels more homemade than most big African restaurants. I also love the hospitality: our server Esther catered very well to our large group, and came to check on us multiple times to make sure we were okay. The decor is very nice, there’s also food behind the glass pane so you can see what you’re eating. Love it!

My first time there, the gentleman who answered the phone was great. Aside from that, everything else was a disaster. The fish I bought smelled terrible, looked unclean, and seemed to go directly from the freezer into the oven. The black, sticky part in the middle was still present. The worst part was when I cut into it and it was full of water and tasteless. The plantain was overripe and burnt. I threw everything in the trash. Not sure if you think you’re serving food to an animal.. Overall, the whole fish was not worth mentioning. Wasted money.

The atmosphere was very welcoming on the inside but outside needs work. I didn’t know they were even open because there was no sign and the door looked locked. I can’t speak on the whole menu but the Suya, Jollof and Gizmodo were eh(mid) not seasoned enough and kinda bland I’d say.
In summary everything was cool but the foods need to be seasoned more.

The stewed goat dish came with 3 small pieces of tough meat for $29. Definitely NOT worth the price or wait!

This will be a long one. I found this Resturant by accident driving by about two month ago. I met the hostess Esther told her it was first time and order the portage yam. It was delicious. She told me about a the designer stew I said absolutely not because all the designer stew I have tried in the past the pepper wants to kill me. She gave me a sample and it was delicious . I can back again last Saturday with friend and every dish we had was delicious!!!! And I had the designer stew again it was still good. This place is a hidden gem from service to food it is a 10/10 for me!!!!

I’ve never went there in person, but I have done Uber eats couple of times.! First of all, if you are a new restaurant, you need to invest in utensils and to go containers!!! It is unacceptable to serve my food in an aluminum foil smh. And to make matters worse, what happened to the portions? Looks like it’s getting smaller and smaller.

I got the beef suya. The suya seasoning was really good but the quantity was not much and the beef was not juicy enough. It was just average.
