Granted it is not the easiest place to get into or out of when traffic is heavy it’s worth the effort of a small parking lot on a busy corner. The chicken is unlike any fast food chicken as it is never hours under a heat lamp. The burritos are incredible in both taste and texture plus one of them will feed two very easily. Everything on the menu tastes like something that was your grandmother’s specialty. The place has a very unique atmosphere that combines a corner grocery store and your neighborhood fourth of July barbecue. The staff are usually half as baked as the potato wedges and hilarious to try to negotiate a deal with . I don’t care what Popeyes or Churches KFC or Filiburtos have going on, if I want fried chicken or a burrito or taco plate I don’t need to go any farther than Country Club Drive and Sixth Ave in Mesa. I seriously believe that local business that are putting the effort in to make their products stand above the corporate store sameness then they should be supported by the people that live in the surrounding street. These are neighborhoods where the nationwide chain stores wouldn’t think about locating one of their stores

No doubt a hidden gem. Prices are affordable for single or family meals for sure. I got the 25 piece tenders and the flavor was immaculate.

This is located inside the convenience store, across from Circle K. There is no signage outside so it was hard to find…
In front, there’s about 5 parking spots with an accessible spot.
Inside, when you enter the store, you’ll see the chicken of the left side; there was no clear signage at all inside. It’s a really really tiny area. There was some chicken sitting on the warmers, and no seating at all. They package your chicken in a box and it comes with a nice honey biscuit which is a nice touch. They also did offer to bag it which was nice since the box can get a bit greasy. For some reason though, stomach did not feel well after eating it, though I will say chicken itself was pretty juicy and tender.

We had the best experience with the best halal chicken ever!!! We tried other locations and this one is hands down the best. The guys went out of their way to make us enough chicken for our big group.

I’m only giving 1 star because I can’t give negative amount of stars.
The worker got mad because as I pointed to which pieces I wanted stating it’s just chicken. How RUDE! This was after denying me fresh fries because “she had to sell those first”.

This is definitely an oddball / hole in the wall / hidden gem kinda place! And the chicken absolutely SMACKS! You’ll not be disappointed! The staff is beyond friendly and gives a very welcome vibe! Give em a try!

My husband and I eat here about once a week to 2 weeks. Always served by the same guy. He made sure it was always fresh and delicious. Tonight , Friday about 5 30 I walked in and he was not there and neither was the quality of food. We sat in the parking lot chewing on chicken that had the consistency of gum. The wedges were old as also. Quite a few others stopping in for chicken as well. Problem here is that when things get this bad and you serve regular customers sub standard chicken, it is bad for business. Do we want to drive all this way to mesa and take a chance like this again? Has always been great but now I have my doubts as to who at this location cares about what is being served. Was great while it lasted.

I had heard good things in the neighborhood about this place. The man behind the counter said “best fried chicken,” which is a bold claim. But I found out he is an honest man. Excellent chicken. Top quality. Juicy, fried to perfection. I will be back. Often.
