First time eating here. Got the meatballs marinara. From scratch meatballs, sauce, and pasta! Perfectly cooked and size of meal. I like the atmosphere and the staff is good. Would highly recommend. Im coming back to try other things.

This is one our ‘go-to’ places for our group (the Ohio Valley BSA Owner’s Club) since our twice annual rally isn’t far. So I have been here several times over the years.
Our latest dine-in earlier this month was handled well. Service was good and the meals were good. I will report on what I ordered.
I got the stuffed cabbage rolls in tomato sauce with a baked cheddar and sour cream potato as a side. The main dish (cabbage rolls) was a small portion and I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen the side being larger than the main course. It was all really, really good, baked potato with the sour cream and cheddar baked in, one of the best I ever had. I just wish the cabbage rolls were a larger portion because one of my pet peeves is small portions. I like to have no room for dessert but in this case i felt that I have a cavern left in my stomach so I ordered the hot fudge cake with ice cream and that too was amazing! I don’t consider the small portion of the cabbage rolls enough to knock it out of the 5 star category – so it’s more of an FYI to the restaurant owners.
Someone in our group got the brisket mac n cheese and that portion looked generous. She didn’t finish it.
My friend Kenny got the Z-burger (which looked really good) and shoot I should have ordered that. You got a lot more food than the cabbage rolls and it was cheaper too. I hate it when that happens because I can get massive food jealously (when a friend of mine gets something better). At least I know what to order the next time. Hopefully our next time will be sooner rather than later.

Good burgers, sandwiches, and fries. The waitress service was great, she was very attentive. Prices are a tad high in my opinion. Only reason it wasn’t 5 stars is my family including young teens were seated very close to the bar where guys were cursing and acting a fool. It wasn’t very busy so I feel we should or could have been seated on the other side of the wall. I do recommend the food!!

Great service, 5-stars. And although it took a while, the food was very good. All 7 of us were pleasantly surprised and commented on the quality of the food. We were there for lunch and they offered both lunch and breakfast options. The restaurant’s exterior isn’t very inviting and the interior is somewhat cavernous and feels more like a large bar, not a restaurant, however it was still enjoyable and again, the food was great! If I find myself back in Wintersville, Ohio, I will definitely make it a point to come back.

We asked if we could turn off one of the TVs due to my infant son looking at it, and the restaurant was empty except for us. The server asked and was told we couldn’t. We understood and said thank you for asking, we just figured we could ask. A bit later the owner came out of the kitchen and asked if he could help us. We were pretty confused at first, then we explained that we had asked if we could turn off one of the TVs. He then said “These are my TVs, they’re staying on.” He seemed offended by the question itself, became defensive, and confronted us in a very passive aggressive manner, all because we had asked a simple question. The way he responded to us would have been fit if we had been repeatedly asking and not accepted the answer, but that wasn’t the case at all. We weren’t even upset at the answer, we had moved on until he came to our table. Ultimately it ruined our lunch, made us pretty uncomfortable, and was just in general terrible customer service from the owner. Because of this he has lost a few regular customers, we won’t be going back.

Had a bridal shower there during the covid problem. Everything was wonderful. They handled the food, the seating and serving carefully and according to health protocols. I never had to worry about a thing. The food was wonderful and a few of the guests with special requests were treated with kindness and given what they needed quickly. I would not hesitate to have any function there.

Food is OK, we had wedding soup that had no salt and baked chicken that was overly salty, but the pasta and salad were better. Staff seemed to be very nice and were quick to take empty dishes away. Building needs updated badly, stained and missing ceiling tiles, stained carpeting. We ate here a few years ago and again recently, nothing has changed.

I had one of the most genuine waitress. She was quick, and kept our drinks filled at all times. She offered us the appetizers that she thought we’d like and they were delicious! I’m giving this restaurant 4 stars just because of the service and appetizers. The pasta I ordered was a tad chewy but other than that I’ll be coming back and hopefully that waitress is working!
