I LOVE the Arby’s Corned Beef Reuben. I got the Large Combo meal last night and the Reuben sandwich was HORRIBLE. It tasted so much like smoke, that’s all I could taste. I even looked at the meat to make sure that it was corned beef. It looked like it, but that’s all I can say. It certainly did NOT taste like it. I guess I’ll have to find somewhere else to get my Reuben sandwich from if they’re going to be that bad.

I waited at the counter far longer than I should have and eventually gave up and ordered through the app instead. When I finally got my food, the portion size was noticeably off. That’s not just a guess either. It’s the only thing I’ve ordered there for the last 20 years, so I know exactly what it’s supposed to look like. That made it especially surprising, because Arby’s used to weigh their meat, so consistency was never an issue before.

So today in Louisville kentucky on Bardstown rd and Hikes ln I opened the wrap on my double beef n cheddar they had a long piece of the plastic wrap that the meat comes in still on the meat!! come on Arby’s you can do better! Don’t. Service had been going downhill over the last couple of months, but today was unacceptable. The individual at the OT/window was warm and friendly, my food was not. I’m really not one to complain, but there’s no way in hell this meat wasn’t at least a day old and cooked twice. Burnt but cold (?), dry as a bone, and tasted off. Tossed everything after spitting out my first bite as I don’t trust like that. Would have gotten a refund but was already back home. I’m easy to please, but that was the first bad meal I’ve had in years.

I have a photo but not sure how to add it. Not good. Ordered four beef and cheddar, one with extra red sauce. Barely any cheese, almost a whole teaspoon, and barely any red sauce on any of the sandwiches. I don’t know that we will be back. Don’t advertise pictures of food when it certainly does not look even remotely similar when you sell it. Prices being what they are I expected better.

I use the online order process and it is always flawless. Quick and simple.
6 months later I need to update this review. I had an online order to be picked up at 11:40 and I’m still waiting for it at 12:10. This is unacceptable and shows me that the manager here has no respect for their customers or their time. I will be written up for taking too long of a lunch. Thanks, Arby’s.
Update: I’ve been back here a few more times and the bad experience is apparently an anomaly. My recent visits since then have been outstanding. I should exercise more patience and try to understand that possibly they were understaffed on the day I had the bad experience.

I ordered a ham and cheese melt sandwich with extra cheese and I got my sandwich and it was cold, cheese wasn’t melted and meat wasn’t warm at all. Then I tried to call them and no answer.
