I called on Monday to have a custom cake made to surprise my husband and in laws with a gender reveal. The cake was ready on Wednesday and the cake was even better than I imagined. The details were correct. The cake was not dry at all and delicious. They have a lot of great flavors to offer. Staff were very friendly and called to confirm details the day before. A very cute atmosphere inside too. I’d definitely come back for coffee and a treat.

I will scream to the heavens that Pennie’s is an amazing bakery! The staff was so kind, Hannah was a pleasure. They were able to make this beautiful cake for me sorta last minute. Not only did it look fantastic, but it tasted great too. Everyone was asking where we got it and said it was great. I could not be more pleased (and the birthday girl was ECSTATIC). Pennie’s serves some of the best coffee I’ve had anywhere hands down! They use Onyx Coffee Lab beans, which puts them in the top tier globally and shows how seriously they take their craft. I’ve traveled extensively and seek out top-tier coffee shops everywhere, and Pennie’s consistently holds its own against the best. The staff is genuinely friendly, and their cookies, pastries, and cakes are excellent, but the coffee alone is reason enough to come back again and again. If you care about TRULY GREAT COFFEE, this place is a must!

I’ve only ever been here once, but had a great experience and enjoyed everything I purchased. I brought home goodies for my family, my parents and grandparent, whom all enjoyed their treats too!
There was a large selection of desserts and drinks. I only purchased desserts as I had ate lunch prior. I wasn’t sure what to try, so I got a variety based on the employees recommendations.
I didn’t love the location, as it took forever to be able to make a left hand turn on the road that the bakery is on. The parking lot was empty upon arrival but when I was leaving it was hard to get back out with all of the customers coming in. Didn’t make the trip impossible, but was a bit of an annoyance.
I will be back in the future to try other offerings!!

My husband bought Gluten Free Cupcakes (some vanilla and some chocolate,) from Pennie’s Bake Shop, and they were not only beautiful (with little curls of corresponding chocolate on each one,) but they were delicious too! Every gluten free treat that I have ever tried from Pennie’s has been beautiful and delicious!

Pennie’s crafted a wonderfully, beautiful sheet cake for my sister’s shower. After providing the invitation as inspiration, they decorated it perfectly and nailed the theme! The cake was also so delicious and is the best gluten free cake we’ve had in western PA!! Pennie’s also passed all of my sister’s Celiac safety questions and she had no issues with cross contamination so we know they handled her allergy seriously and professionally. Thank you for the perfect finishing touch for her shower!

Pennie’s bakery made two 4 inch cakes for my kids birthday party and they turned out amazing! We got the confetti cake and chocolate cake and both were delicious and moist. I told them what colors I wanted and they decorated them so cute! Would definitely recommend to a friend! Their cupcakes were a hit as well!
