We visited recently and were SO happy to discover this local enterprise. The cinnamon rolls and homemade cookies were fantastic, and we also brought home both bread flour and some wheat berries, which have been great as a warm breakfast on a cool morning. If you want to support local family businesses, please consider purchasing the wonderful homemade items here.

A genuine hidden gem. Not only does The Tower Rock Bakery have tasty baked goods and amazing breads, but they grow many of their own grains right on the farm. Tucked right below Tower Rock, close to TR Elementary School the bakery is on open Friday afternoons and Saturday morning. Get there early or risk missing out on the good stuff. We purchased a pan of Cinnamon Rolls for the kids which were great, and I had a Caramel Pecan Roll which was next level. Also picked up a loaf of bread, there were 5 or 6 varieties to choose from. Highly recommend making the trip west of Prairie Du Sac on County Hwy PF!

Great little bakery just a couple miles from Sauk Prairie. They use real ingredients and make excellent stuff! Cookies, muffins, breads, rolls. You can even buy the grains/flour for your baking!

Wonderful small and rural family bakery. Bought the raisin bread which was soft, yeasty, and wonderfully aromatic. It was eaten up in the first day! They grow the grains and mill it on the farm. Will be back for more.

Loved the soft rye bread! Nice to see locally grown and milled flours in use. Good cinnamon rolls and cookies too.

These guys make the very best cinnamon rolls on earth. And they’re whole wheat. And they grow the wheat on their farm, without chemicals. I thank God there are people and places like this still, making the world the magical places it ought to be. Especially when corporate consumer culture values and aesthetics have killed so much of the magic in this world. It makes this place that much more special. It I digress. These are the best cinnamon rolls you’ll ever eat, or I’ll eat my hat. Even better than (Slightly but definitely) better than Anne Sathers rolls in Chicago.

Truly the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever eaten. Loved the birdseed bread toasted with just butter. You can tell the time/care/quality they put into their products. We’ll definitely be back!

We tried the cookies yesterday and then HAD to come back for a baker’s dozen! I am a baker and know a good cookie and have to say these cookies are better than mine! I bought the pastry flour so I’m hoping that gives mine that special flavor and texture What I wouldn’t give to add these recipes to my collection, being from Iowa, I only get to this area once a year

How can you not love a place where they grow the wheat, harvest it, mill it, mix it and bake it ? You can’t get any more local than that. All natural ingredients. REAL butter too. Very friendly and helpful staff and did I mention exceptional baked goods? We opted for the potato bread, sweet rolls with nuts and several types of cookies. All A+. If you’re lucky Sylvester the cat and his siblings will come out to greet you.
