Dear Moms provides the best service, ample quality servings of food and a great ambiance. They also have good wine, beer and cocktails. Even though they were about to close for lunch they seated us, served us and did not rush us out the door. I had the green curry with chicken my husband had the drunken noodle. He had a Thai Beer and I opted for a French Sauvignon Blanc which the food paired perfectly with. We also shared the fried wings with were to die for.

Loved this little taste of southern Asia. Definitely order the Gaeng hang lay – fall off the bone tender braised pork ribs in a sauce that makes your whole mouth happy – savory, sweet, sour, and just the tight amount of heat. This is a dish that should not be missed and something you’ll want to write home about! The cozy café atmosphere is perfect for conversation and the wait staff is friendly with just the right amount of attentiveness. To top it off, the wait staff wear shirts that ask, “Have you called your mom today?” Will definitely come again. (The Panang curry with prawn was delicious too!

First time visit while with family in Bend. This is a more modern interpretation of Thai food. When we take trips we always try to find a good place to try Thai food. This café definitely delivers! Cool modern atmosphere and creative dishes. Our table had the Chee chee curry, yellow curry, Pad Thai Woonsen and Cashew nut chicken. All were amazing! We will be back!

My family and I were very impressed with Dear Mom Cafe. The most surprising thing is that all the food is really delicious. It’s a unique and innovative Thai dish. If we have the chance to go back to visit again, we will definitely not miss eating at this restaurant again.

I continue to have a good experience here and have been happy with the flavors and service. The drunken noodles weren’t very spicy though so I got a side of their spicy fish sauce and added that – it made them perfect! Green curry and the mussels appetizers hit the spot spice and flavor wise. Found out they are doing customer appreciation this week as well and was given a little discount off the bill which was a really nice surprise.

Came here on one of our birthdays for dinner. We made reservations and got there early and were seated right away. The menu is very limited but food looked good on their web site so, we were excited to try the food. There are a handful of Thai restaurants in the Bend area and this, by far is the most fancy looking spot we have visited.
The food came out fairly quickly but the price is a little steep for the portions they served. One of us ordered a noodle dish which ended up way too spicy for even someone who eats bird peppers and jalapeno peppers on a regular basis. They may want to keep it authentic but that does not mean that the level of spicy should be at the level they had it at. It took away the flavors of the dish.
We did order several dishes to try and I would say, the food is good but not great. Would I go back? I may give it a second chance as long as the portions remain reasonable for the price they are charging per entree.

I just had one of the best meals of my life at this restaurant. I lived in Thailand for a year and miss the food there all the time.
Dear Mom has the most amazing fusion of flavors on their menu, the vibe is so cool, and the cocktails are on point, not just in flavor but the presentation is not like I’ve seen before in a fun way that forces you to take a picture of it before you drink it.

staff is lovely. Fast service & yummy. Napkins & water, forks, chopsticks available at each table, very user-friendly. Green curry with fried chicken, egg plant, vegi & rice which tastes very good, mildly hot. Thai vegi fried rice is great as well. Thai Ice tea is fabulous, not too sweet. It’s bit warm inside 76-77°F despite the staff lowered the thermostat, guess the strong sun shining thru the extra large windows really heat up the place, wish there’s outdoor seating available.
