I ordered grilled cheese and potato soup. OMG! WHO KNEW A GRILLED CHEESE COULD BE THE BEST THING EVER! Between the perfectly toasted homemade bread, sauce that was most amazing, bacon, and some kind of Magic they put in there….this sandwich is an entire meal for me. Their french fries were truly amazing as well, but the sandwich I will never forget. Call it crazy, but hands down the best sandwich I have ever eaten! The chef came out and talked to my spouse about his diabetes restrictions and helped us to develop a dinner for him. Service amazing, food most amazing, and great environment.

Great food, drinks and atmosphere. We had the monte Cristi and turkey avocado and both were delicious with the crispy potato chips. Loved our old fashions. Glad we stopped in for a late night dinner at 9:30pm.

Cascade doesn’t have a ton of places to grab a good meal, so this spot was a great surprise. The food is very good, service was on point, and the décor makes it feel way nicer than you’d expect in a small town. Honestly one of the best places to eat and hang out around here. Definitely worth checking out.

Came in from Chicago and this is one of the best experiences I have had. Alex and Michelle were our serves and were phenomenal. Seth is the chef and food was incredible. Make sure you get the donuts.

Bartenders get drunk, forget orders, charge each person for whole orders instead of separate orders as requested. We just paid while we where there. We got separate tickets for the same thing. Food is mediocre at best and staff is intitled. Only one one was sober the last 2btimes I’ve been there. I’m a local and hate to see this… WE ARE BETTER!

Bartenders were dope, gave us advice on food options and beer. The chef was great, even gave us elk hunting advice! Alex and Michelle suggested the donuts and they were amazing! The food was incredible and everything we needed after a tough 3 days of elk hunting. This is must stop!

I really wanted to embrace the addition of options for the local community but I’m missing the old hometown feel. I know change is necessary for growth but if growth means pricing out the average household incomes in a rural town like Cascade, I’ll stay home. The Whistlestop was just one that didn’t survive. I really hope there’s no more. We don’t want to become another McCall. Just ask any of the longtime locals.

Happened to be in Cascade this weekend and we stopped in here for some food & drinks and I was so impressed! I had the burger and the huckleberry mule. Everything was 10/10. Enough to take home for a drunken midnight snack. My friend got the meatball sub and it was also sooo good. Love the fry sauce I could drink it.

The food was great, even though the gluten free options are pretty limited. But the drinks were fantastic, they had a great cocktail menu. The service was very friendly, the food was quick. They have two dart boards and overall the atmosphere is really pleasant. Kind of country industrial chic. They don’t have high chairs, which was hilarious because there were lots of families there so it could be an improvement.
