Going with a 4.8. When we got there I was wondering how they got the 4.6 on Google. We soon found out. The waitress had an amazing personality and was ready to serve. After the order was made we chatted with her for a spell and then with a few customers. Then the food came out. Wife played it safe with chicken strips and crinkle fries. I did the john dandy. It’s big. Bread is soft but chewy. Does not fall apart with all the juices. The pork was done well and the cold slaw was a vinegar base. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had. The chips were sweet potatoes! Homemade and delicious. The chef has a way of bringing them together. We finished with meat and cheese fries. Talk about perfect comfort food. This chef takes pride in his food and it shows…..

Hidden gem!!! Buckey’s is Top 10 in town. Always a heaping portion of food! The savory, bbq tastes and the sweet toppings make the Jim Dandy one of my favorite orders. Fries were well seasoned and great portion. I usually can’t finish everything in one sitting so I have extra for lunch the next day. Owners are the friendliest people and work hard. Parking is on the side of building.

my family has loved this place for years and it never disappoints. The meat and cheese fries are one of the best foods I’ve ever tasted. I tried the chicken quesadilla for the first time today and it’s really good! My brother really liked the Jim Dandy. I’ll highly recommend this place forever

Just a well rounded place. The owner treat and talk you like family. The portions on the pulled pork are amazing. Not to mention his sauce is addictive lol. I give it on a scale 1 to 10. An 8. Honestly its a 10 bit they haven’t been around for normal services.

This place is the definition of a local treasure. My now husband and I used to go there every chance we got to eat their pulled pork with a side of meat and cheese fries. Epic. I live stated away now and I think about it way too often. So delicious.

First time eating here today and I will say I enjoyed everything. We got a mix of foods for a few people at work and everything was amazing. The loaded cheese frys and the shredded roast beef are outstanding! I would highly recommend giving Buckey’s a try!

This place has the best pulled pork in the Ohio Valley. I was so upset when they moved because we thought they went out of business. So happy to see they’re across the street from domino’s now. Wonderful service and a great price. Cannot beat it.

This was my go to before they moved the shop. NEVER GOING BACK. Ordered food at the counter and everything we recieved was wrong. There was a hair in the quesadilla, and wasnt made as ordered. We got double fries with pork and ordered 1 fries with cheese. Ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches one with the hotter sauce. We got one pulled pork with mild sauce and a steak and cheese with hot sauce on it. Didnt even get my coalslaw NEVER GOING BACK

Could use a class in Marketing since there is no identification or signs on the outside of their building giving a clue that it is a food business. It still looks like (and used to be) an automotive repair shop. The place has no consistent hours of operation and the public has no idea if it will be open or closed when you make the trip there. You can try to call first, but a lot of times they do not answer the phone anyway even when they are open. Having said all that…. Their sandwiches were good when I had them.

Honestly the worst bbq I’ve had in a long time if you want to even call it that. Pulled pork was cooked in oil and many of the pieces were burnt and inedible. The mac and cheese was noodles and nacho cheese. Took 30 minutes to fill my to go order and I was the only customer.
