The food was good. I always judge a place on the Nachos Fajitas and they were good. Nice little place in Heyworth. The atmosphere just felt like very “hospital”. It is in a strip mall so I guess this is the go atmosphere….would love to see lower ceilings more traditional decorations.

The restaurant was clean. The waiter & staff were incredibly friendly & gave great service. The food was just incredibly disappointing. My husband ate his but it looked sad. ( Steak & shrimp w onions) His steak was grey. It just didn’t look good. I had rice with chicken & queso over all of it. It tasted reheated, old. The rice was crunchy & mushy at the same time. The chicken tasted bland. Boiled & then reheated. No real flavor. After trying it, I couldn’t eat it. I’m in no hurry to return.

I ordered a burrito ($4) and the 3 taco meal ($14) I also had queso with my chips and my boyfriend and I each got one drink a raspberry margarita that was alright and I had a Pina colada, it was the worst drink I’ve ever gotten anywhere. It tasted like water and tequila. My bill was 53 dollars. Service also wasn’t very good. I would not recommend this place.

Food was definitely worth going back for three times in the same week. The service/customer service is top notch and personable. Love their Mexican cokes and the fact that they leave them in the cooler until we arrive to pick up the food so they stay cold.

Excellent steak burrito. The service was impeccable. It averaged to be 25.00 per adult. That was with 3 drinks per person as well. I would highly recommend Tequilas to anyone in the area.

The service and atmosphere were fantastic. This is mostly a personal preference. I’ve lived in Texas, so I got too used to the Tex-Mex style. Down there has much better tasting food, spicy and seasoning wise, here it wasn’t “spicy.” Add a little more seasoning and a little more spice, you’ll be golden.
This review is mostly for the owner/manager. Yes, it’s your business and not mine, but that’s the main thing I’d recommend. You did not lose a customer; I’ll still be coming back when I have the craving again.
Oh, I almost forgot. If you’re able to fix the door where it doesn’t take all my strength to open the door, that would be well appreciated!

The place was super clean, felt authentic. The food came out quickly, the quality was even better. Our server was great and we never felt rushed. Good Mexican food is back in H-Town! 5 stars.

The 2 servers working were extremely rude, ignored some of our requests and argued with us when we called them on it.Even walked clear around our table to avoid giving a refill on water. Definitely will not return.
