If I could give zero stars after my experience yesterday, I would. I’ve been going to Cazares since it was the grocery store in Canutillo. The service isn’t always the best, but the food usually is. It’s typically the first place I go when I come in town and the last place before I go home, so I can fill my suitcase with burritos. So, it was the first place I went when I got in town this time. There was a long line and I waited until my turn. I ordered two chili relleno burritos with beans and one deshebrada with no beans. Apparently, she misunderstood me because she did not put beans on the two I asked for. She argued with me back-and-forth that I didn’t tell her to until the girl next to her finally came over and told her I wanted beans. Maybe she couldn’t hear me well. It was loud and I wasn’t speaking loudly, although I tried to speak up. Finally, after chastising me in the line in front of everybody, she added the beans and told the girl next to her that I was drunk in Spanish. I quite obviously understood what she was saying, since I understood everything she was saying throughout my order in Spanish. I told the girl next to her and the cashier that I wasn’t drunk, and even if I was, I was still paying for my burritos with beans. I wasn’t though, and I explained to the cashier that I’m actually in town for a very traumatic and critical family emergency, So I’m not drunk, I’m sad and highly stressed and emotional. The cashier apologized and asked me if she could pray for me. Of course, that was very kind, but still so disappointed in the way I was treated. I called the manager today and explained the situation because I want to leave a bad review, and she replied, “okay….” I just stayed quiet so she finally said “she was sorry I didn’t have a good experience there and she would talk to the employee, But she didn’t care. It was obvious by her “okayyyyyy?” I didn’t want to write a review because I haven’t been a very loyal customer for a long time, but you really shouldn’t treat people like that, especially someone who has supported your business since the beginning and who has recommended it to countless people. It’s sad because I’ll probably never go back there and that’s such a cornerstone of my trips home, but I will not be treated like that when I’m spending my money in your establishment.

I come to Cazares all the time, and they never disappoint. Every time I order my bean burritos, they come out perfect fresh, flavorful, and made just the way I like them. The consistency here is amazing, and that’s what keeps me coming back.
The staff are always kind and fast, and it honestly feels like they remember me at this point. You can tell they take pride in their food, even with the simpler items my burritos are always warm, soft, and packed just right. No soggy tortillas or skimpy fillings here.
Whether you’re stopping in for something quick or sitting down to enjoy a full plate, Cazares is reliable, affordable, and delicious. My bean burrito heart is happy

Today I stopped by to buy some burritos but since they were about to close I end up getting some of the left over burritos, y me dieron gato por liebre I bought a barbacoa one and they gave me papas con chorizo instead of BB of with a full price of BB. Don’t get me wrong, burritos here are delicious but they need to put more attention to what they are doing.

The best! This is the stop in the area, just get there before lunch time unless you want to stand in a line. Gorditas, burros, etc are scratch made and generous.

Every time we go to El Paso, we stop to buy a burrito. They have different meats and prices. Usually, I will get chicharron with beans and a chile relleno.
