5 stars for atmosphere is for the atmosphere provided by the owner, staff, and patrons; not for romance. Our 1st time and my gosh, we were treated as featured important guests by staff and patrons alike. Can’t beat it. Best local neighborhood “home away from home” some might call a dive, but this dive soars with fun, warmth and perhaps the best burgers in the South. This the perfect burger spot! Getting to it was a little challenging but it was worth it! From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the staff and even the customers. Can you say “down home feel”. I got a Cheeseburger with chill, Hot dog all the way with Chili (slaw, onions and mustard) and a small fry (I should have got a large). The prices were more than reasonable, my whole order was less than $20. The food was delicious and I will be back with my grandkids!

1st timer. Friendly family owned business. A lot of history behind it. We really felt welcomed. Everything we ordered was so delicious. We loved the food. It was made with love. We definitely will be back to try some other menu items. You can see it from the highway and not hard to find.

The staff were friendly. It’s not fast food. They say that they pat out each burger. I liked the fried pimento cheese balls. The decor hasn’t been updated in a very long time. It was dark and cluttered.
