We were in town for the day and wanted to grab a bite to eat before heading back to Orlando. I remember seeing this place during my last visit to Gainesville so I wanted to check it out. It did not disappoint! I normally don’t go to restaurants an hour before closing but I’m glad we did. The place was still packed when we sat down. I know this sounds silly but everything from the crispy Coke Zero to the warm tortilla chips and salsa was great! My sister and I both got the chicken chorizo taco and it was packed with meat! It was so tasty! It was probably the best thing we had there! We also got the entree with 1 enchillada, 1 chille relleno, and 1 chimichanga and that was delicious as well! I highly recommend it! Can’t wait to go back!

We frequent Pepper’s at least once a week if not twice, because the vibes and food are just that good. Eduardo was previously the iconic bartender who always made our meals entertaining- He recently got promoted, boy does he deserve it! So excited to see him work his magic in his new position. The owner is a family man who genuinely cares & is present at both locations, support locally owned businesses!
The atmosphere at their new location is clean, welcoming, and just feels good. The food is always flavorful and delicious, comes out fast. Their drink deals have to be the best in town. You can’t go wrong with any of their menu options; we like the FREE chips and salsa (some places charge you for that now), chunky guac, birria tacos, quesa pizza for two, Texas de pelusa, tamales, horchata…. honestly I’ve never had something I don’t like. If you’re looking for a new spot or a welcoming atmosphere with good & reasonably priced food this is it! We ❤️ you peppers!

Nice, modern and clean new location. Very happy to have a Pepper’s closer to where I live down here on Archer Road as opposed to the location on Newberry. The service was very fast and we got our food within 10 minutes of the waiter taking our order. The food was delicious and hot, and a great deal the build your own combo option.

The food was great service was great but then my daughter cut into her enchilada and found a long hair inside the enchilada when the employee was notified we told them about the hair and they tried to make an excuse on how nobody had blonde hair in the kitchen and that they wear hair nets. They remade the food but they still charged full price for it. I’m disappointed in how it was handled by management

Marcela is a great server. We’ve been coming to peppers for years now and she’s one of the best servers we’ve had 🙂 the food is always amazing and we love the chips and salsa. I get the California burrito , the nachos, or the fajita salad and it’s always fast fresh and delicious

Oh my God I can’t say enough good things about peppers literally everybody here is so wonderful and friendly. And don’t let me forget to mention Eduardo! He’s like the coolest freaking bartender I’ve ever had. I can’t say enough good things about this place you guys should definitely come if your looking for a good time and good food. Im like an addict I come for the drinks and the food and the service and it never disappoints. Best Mexican restaurant in town.

Ohmaiguudness! Maria was our server tonight and she was amazing! It was our first night out eating in Gainesville. Our friend recommended Pepper’s and we were met with great food but even better service from our girl Maria! Thank you!
