MGMT: GET YOUR LAZY STAFF IN CHECK!
For mos I have been consistently calling this location to place a takeout sandwich order between 8:35 – 8:40 p.m. and instead of picking up they make me drive there to order the sandwich while waiting. Tonight I started calling at 8:37 and called consistently until 8:48. No luck, so I drove over there and ordered the sandwich while watching them make it in front of me. I would never order anything but a cold sandwich after 8:30, which takes them 5 min to make. This behavior is consistent among multiple staff mbrs. At the very least, they could pick up the phone to say, “cold sandwiches only.” This is laziness among the staff b/c they don’t want to make a sandwich of any sort. They want to leave as early as possible. Picking up the phone to admit that is too awkward and embarrassing for them but it’s also embarrassing to be there buying a sandwich while watching the staff let the phone ring over and over in front of us all.

Never had a bad experience! Frank and his crew are fast, friendly and courteous. My only problem with them is, I never visit often enough to satisfy my cravings!

I used to love their sandwiches, but the last couple of times I’ve had them they were very dry and the bread was stale. I don’t live very close so I’ve only eaten here a couple times in the last 2 years. Both times were awful and the second I never even finished my sandwich.

A relatively simple menu is printed neatly above the counter where you order. There is some seating at this location and it is varied in type, but the whole area feels rather snug. They offer bottle or fountain drinks. We didn’t wait too long for our 3 large sandwiches. They were still hot when we got them back home. Plenty of parking.

1st timers. Ordered two pastrami sandwiches. I thought the claim to fame of this place was grilled sandwiches. Neither sandwich was grilled, roll was just warmed. Would have been much better grilled. Neither one of us feel the need to return. Very friendly staff with plenty of parking.

I usually LOVE their sandwiches, but I visited the location by the airport and this is what I unwrapped… I order a number 9 with extra cheese in a pocket. The pocket was so stale it was cracked, the cheese was cold and in one big glob and the steak was overcooked and slightly burnt. Definitely not going back to that location.

I’m sorry to say I had to change my review. Been going there for awhile. Service is usually good. Went there tonight got a medium steak number 9, I usually get a small because I don’t eat that much. Well that’s what I got in a medium sub was a small amount of steak.. half of my sub didn’t have steak on it the other half barely had any on it. I’m not one for calling it going back to complain. Next time I’m checking before I leave and if it isn’t right you’re getting it back..
