This spot is a hidden gem. The food was great!! I am a fan of Ting had it in Jamaica for the first time. It was an added bonus to our meal. Jerk Ribs, mac and cheese with Sweet potatoes was an amazing meal. The ladies shared Curry Chicken, ox tails, jersey pasta and wedges with fried chicken. All of it 5/5. Good music playing in the background. The service was great. Staff very attentive and anticipated needs before requests were needed.

Gees is the kind of place u walk in and will think oh this is either going to be REALLY good or REALLY bad and let me tell you – it’s the good one!!!!!! Wow chicken was fall of the bone, mac and cheese was amazing, and plantains were perfect. Peas and rice were also great. All of their sides sounded good but only 2 came with the meal, and it was hard to pick just 2 from the list. This is the best Jamaican food i’ve ever had (granted i’ve only had it a handful of times lol) please PLEASE go here

First time coming here and we very much enjoyed it. Chicken was so good and the shrimp was cooked perfectly! Everything we had was super tasty and seasoned well!!!

That was the WORST jerk chicken I have had! The oxtails was decent though it was like 4 bites of meat and mostly bone. The cornbread was thin. I’m use to fluffy cornbread! The cabbage had absolutely no flavor. Somebody lying in these reviews if they say this good or ‘no disrespect’ they have non seasoned genes. I feel robbed. Also I had the runs an hour after eating. I put it on my kids I will never go here again! Island Frydays is the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had in Cincinnati and I’ve been to Jamaica! Sometimes it is not best to try new things I should have went with what I know! The macaroni was unflavored. The peach cobbler was literally cake with peaches but I can’t say I hated it, didn’t love it tho.

We stopped by Gee’s Caribbean and it did not disappoint!
I had the jerk chicken wings with cabbage, cornbread, and mac & cheese — everything was seasoned perfectly and full of flavor. My fiancé got the jerk whole wings with mac and rice & peas, and his plate was just as amazing.
The food tastes like it’s made with love — real, authentic Caribbean flavor. Definitely one of the best meals we’ve had in a while.
10/10 — we’ll definitely be back! ️

I’ve never really ate carribean food often but this helped me discover that it’s really good actually. The staff were extremely friendly, they knew I hadn’t had it before I think because after all they did ask me if I didn’t lol. The food was delicious at bare minimum. I would definitely go here again. (We can’t forget they reduced the price without me asking, don’t expect it but it was extremely friendly to do so.)

Absolutely thee best Caribbean dishes. I leaves a 10 too 20.00 tip every time I go and I go at least once a month. To get my salmon dinner w/habanero mango sauce Mac and cheese and candied yams. Clifton location preferably. Just tried the College Hill location over the weekend. Good food as well. Had the oxtails and Curry goat comes on a bed of red beans and rice. Enough to feed 4 small children easily..

Made to order. It would be described mediocre at best. The jerk chicken was dry. The curry goat taste like seasoned meat definitely not curry. The Mac and cheese was flavorless. Not a good experience. The fruit punch had a strange aftertaste as if the lemonade was rancid.
