The Arepa Place specializes in a Colombian and Venezuelan dish known as arepas, which we make the traditional way! First, we boil and grind the corn. After kneading the dough, we make the patties and then grill them. The arepa is cut open and stuffed with your choice of mozzarella cheese, black beans, fried plantains, shredded beef, chorizo, and/or chicken. We also have breakfast arepas! Each arepa comes with one of our homemade salsas. We also serve delicious empanadas made from freshly ground corn. These corn pockets are stuffed with mozzarella cheese, shredded chicken, ground beef, or potato and eggplant before being deep-fried. Lastly, we also offer side dishes of sweet plantains or plantain chips with salsa and/or guacamole.

Tried something new & wasn’t disappointed. The staff was friendly & patient while helping us select an arepa. The shop was bustling with people stopping in for pick ups & dining in. But never felt too crowded while waiting or eating. Took about 10min to receive our oder but it was piping hot, correct and delicious. Certainly will return for more.

Workers had great energy! Super busy inside but they were still pretty quick with orders. I enjoyed my vegetarian cheese arepa! The jugo de maracuyá (psssionfruit) was delicious, definitely order it if visiting. Limited seating, not good for larger groups.

The food was decent. I heard alot of good things about this place but was a bit disappointed. My chicken and cheese arepa was a bit dry and when I got mild sauce I was just handed ranch dressing. Glad I tried it but it was just okay. My partner really liked his. He got the spicy sauce which was delicious and the pork belly was really good.

While visiting Cincinnati I stopped here to try the food. This was my first time trying it and let me say it was delicious. I got the chicken and cheese one and the Blanca salsa was the best I have ever tasted. I also enjoyed the plantains with guacamole. Ill be back the next time I am in time

Authentic Colombian food. Findlay Market location is small with standing options for eating. Market days are crowded so be prepared to take out and to wait (20 minutes) for fresh food to be prepared.

I am sure that the food is amazing, but I’ve delivered Uber orders for them a couple of times. Unfortunately, there have been various issues every order. Long waits, poor packaging, forgetting items, and lowering my ratings on Uber because I didn’t pick up a second order that was not showing up on my app. Maybe it was an error on the app, but given the multiple issues I’ve had delivering for Arepa Place, I wouldn’t put it past them to have messed up as well. Recommend going in person, otherwise deliver from elsewhere so your order does not get messed up.

I don’t have any food pics because I only got plantains this time to bring back home. Every time I go to Cincinnati, which is a 2 Hour Dr. I go to Findlay Market. I have never in my life had Verde sauce as great as they have here. So if I don’t eat here, I always pick up plantains and Verde to take home. Their food is authentic and delicious. Absolutely delicious food. My boyfriend and I shared the loaded vegetarian cheese arepa with the blanca salsa and it was the perfect portion to be satisfied but still able to try more treats in the market. Definitely would come here again if we’re in the area! Also recommend the sugar cane lemonade 🙂

Fantastic spot! Absolutely delicious arepas, especially the steak and cheese ones. It is a pulled beef type of meat which was excellent. Plantain chips and the chicken and cheese arepas are also very good. Reasonable and fairly quick. Bonus, it is all gluten free! Take out and enjoy on the outdoor tables nearby

Amazing arepa restaurant. If you are in the area you must visit this place. I had the vegetarian stuffed arepa, and it was delicious and a very generous serving. I recommend ordering all the sauces. They are all fantastic. My friend ordered the empanadas, and she said they were fabulous. The gentleman who took our orders was very attentive and informative. I also had a beverage there that was delicious, aqua something. Definitely try that!
