The best thing about this place is that you have a wonderful view of the Tetons while you are eating. It seems to stay fairly busy during the daylight hours as it is the only substantial place to get food within 10 miles either way of Moose Jct and there are many tourists driving US 89 to get a good look at the Tetons while
They offer a limited variety of sandwiches, soups (including green chili) and salads for which you stand in line to order and pay and then have the food delivered to your table when ready. The beer selection is limited but offers good local beers along with the bland American regulars.
The prices are what you would expect for a tourist place, moderately higher than at your home restaurants, but not outrageous.
The parking can be tough as there are a lot of people stopping to shop at the adjacent general store, the pizza joint, and the bar.

The name says it all—this spot captures the rustic charm of a classic chuckwagon experience. The outdoor seating is cozy, with picnic tables, a covered wagon, and even a teepee tent adding to the atmosphere. Cooking is done right in the pavilion, which makes the experience feel authentic and inviting.

We had breakfast, and it was spot on. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was crisp, and both the French toast and pancakes were absolutely delicious. It’s not gourmet dining, but that’s not the point—the setting, simplicity, and quality make it a delightful stop. A perfect way to start the day in the Tetons!

If you want low-end industrial quality food, (school food from the 70s) this may be the place for you!
We had breakfast there. They don’t serve eggs with cheese since they don’t serve cheese during breakfast. There is a break between 11-12 to switch over to lunch. They don’t tell you to get your own coffee or silverware. The pancakes were ok with enough syrup and honey on them. Even that didn’t help the sausage. Oh, don’t arrive close to 11 or they’ll be out of several things … except beer. Seems they offer that all day! The eggs were tolerable. Overall, I wouldn’t bother coming here again. I’d rather just buy a snack from the store. My wife and I feel the same way, and we’re not picky eaters. Save the $30 for 2 breakfasts here and go to Signal Mt Lodge for good food, service, and views. Oh, and you’re in the airports flight path.

We ordered chicken burgers and they were good! They have tons of outdoor (with sun protection) and indoor seating. Service took a bit of time (15-20 mins), probably since it was peak hours.

They also had a play area for kids!

I had very low expectations but this place still managed to disappoint me. From the very first moment we were (not) greeted by a rude cashier who seemed annoyed by having to take our orders. There were employees carrying on with each other with little regard for customers. Cashier didnt ask what kinda cheese we want on our burgers so I assumed there was no options. The default is NO cheese? The saddest $20 burger I ever ate. Asking what kind of cheese I want would have made the bill (and their tip) bigger. A friendly hello may also have helped. You would think these adult children (employees) would be at least smart enough to act in their own self interest. Again I expected very little from this place but it could be so much better with so little change. The manager needs to find a better cashier at least she was miserable. We ate here 5pm on 9/3/2025.

Sourdough pancakes are really delicious and the setting cannot be beat! Dinner is fine but breakfast is highly, highly recommended.

Great place to eat good food and spectacular views. Outside eating, with some covering from the sun if you want that.

Service was awful. There was so much smoke blowing from the kitchen we had to move from the inner seating area to the picnic tables and when we told our server that as she was bringing our food she said “okay” and proceeded to drop off all the food. So we carried everything ourselves to the picnic table. Naively we tipped before assuming they wouldn’t be so inhospitable. The salad was $8; probably cost $0.25 to make, so overpriced. The meat wasn’t cooked well. Nothing worth ever coming back to this place. Unsure why it’s recommended

Coming from NY it wasn’t too bad.
I typically do not like thick bread but the bread was fresh and tasty. The bacon had good flavor and outside of needing some salt/pepper the eggs were well made

The service was ok, friendly enough not to complain but I would have to go there and observe a bit more to see if my initial observation which I will not share because I am not 100% positive is correct.

Delicious lunch with unbeatable views of the park. We had the huckleberry turkey sandwich (which I would order again), beef tip sandwich, buffalo burger and pork sandwich. Quick service, nice outdoor seating options in sun or shade or in the teepee! Yellow jackets were pesky but are just part of being able to see the mountains.
