First timers from Georgia, on our way to Portello’s but decided to check out Meatheads. Upon entry, you step to the cashier and menu. Cashier was really nice enough. My fiancé ordered a Chili Dog and the side Signature Chop Salad, I ordered the Southern Chicken Sandwich and Cajon Seasoned Cheese Fries.
Self-seating, they have booths and tables. We sat at a table by the window. Atmosphere was bland but you could see the cook, which I like and they bring the food to the table.
The salad we were expecting was not what we received. Nothing was chopped except the bacon on top. It had red pepper strips, onion strips, and black beans (??? Never had that on a chopped salad before), carrots and diced tomatoes. My fiancé returned it, cause nothing was “chopped”. He said the Chili Dog was, “just ok”, nothing special, bad or good. My sandwich was tasty, I ordered it without pickles and coleslaw, so it was just the chicken and buttermilk ranch dressing on a bun, a little salty. The fries looked appetizing, however, they were HELLA SALTY ‼️ I have a very low tolerance for sodium and/or salt and one bite in, had to spit it out. I figured the cheese and bacon was salty, so dug into the uncovered fries. Turns out, they were salted, so along with the other salted ingredients, that added an EXTRA layer of PURE SALT….waaaaaayyyyy too much. Needless to say, we left the entire dish.
Don’t think we’d go back, but wouldn’t recommend to people with HBP‼️

Even prior to Inflation & covid, menu took a nose drive. Was one of my fav burger joint. Nostalgia got the better of me led to the return. Things isnt the same like it used with burger quality but still a good burger and good amount of toppings. Sauce should be free, seriously corporate guys if you care to read. Decor is nice.

The food was Amazing! Great service! My son says “The employees are very kind”( whatever that means! Lol). My wife and I split the Hawaiian Burger and Californian burger, both fantastic with the Hawaiian Burger slightly winning for uniqueness!!!! We split a cheese fry for the family which is enough for 3-4 people! Our son had a foot long dog only ketchup (he may not be mine since ketchup on a hotdog is immoral! That’s my cross to bear though). The bun was toasted and super yummy! I only had the 1 bite dad tax but he did eat the rest which says a lot!!! All in all can’t believe e haven’t been here sooner!!! Can’t wait to come back!!!

When we get a taste for a good Burger we go to Meatheads. The burgers are made fresh which definitely makes the difference in the taste. I always enjoy seeing the local football scores on the scoreboard too. The management that was there was friendly and made sure to stop by our table to make sure everything was OK.

Sad to see locations closing as this used to be my fave burger joint but now I can see why.
On this visit for the first time I said this was a OK burger. They were always excellent but now just ok.
Also the lady upfront was less than excellent to work there. I get it that she hates her job but when we (me and 2 kids) say thank you multiple times it would be nice to get anything back. At least a smile if you’re welcome is too much to ask for.
So please let Leon**** know that we said thank you at least 6 times, 3 while placing the order and 3 more when she brought us the food and got nothing back. This review was promoted by my kids asking about that.

My teen sons and I went looking for “good burgers” after working out together. Yelp steered us here. This is definitely a step up from fast food (though the wait wasn’t long). Now, in Texas, we were spoiled by some really epic burger places (compare to P.Terry’s and Mighty Fine) and Meatheads was close, but it just didn’t totally clear the hurdle for me. My boys loved it though. I’d say 3.5 ⭐️s.
Everything was fresh, good flavor and clean. I was just underwhelmed by the portion of meat and flavor. Two of us got the 1/3 lb and older son had the 1/2 (he’s bulking up). A burger has to lean one way or the other; either be thick and meaty, or have stand out flavor. This was just short on both to be truly celebrated.
Fries here are cut potatoes, skin on served crispy. I had the side wedge salad which was very good. They have two of those soda kiosks. The place was clean and the service was very friendly.
We’ll probably be back.

Always fresh, hot and friendly! My favorite burger place in town for sure. I have had many burgers, the chicken sandwiches, several salads, the chicken strips and the (now gone) fish sandwich. And of course, the excellent fries. All are top notch! Thanks, Meatheads! Y’all do a great job!
