We stopped at The Lake Shack for lunch on a Friday and had a great time. Our food came out hot and fresh. The service was friendly and able to make recommendations. The atmosphere is very cozy, especially around the bar. There are plenty of tables tho!

Great spot to dine. They have parking for boats and nice walk path to the restaurant. Its indoor/outdoor seating. We tried the olive burger and fish plate. I had a side of sweet potato fries. FYI they put cinnamon on it. I prefer salty.
Overall, a good place to grab a quick lunch/dinnerafter riding around the lake.

Good food with huge portions and a pretty walking trail down to the docks. The kitchen was a little backed up, but that was communicated by our server. Sitting outside by the water is very nice.

What an amazingThankgiving find. This place reminded me Moonbeam Canada where the people were no nonsense and knew they needed other people. The staff was hardworking and kind. They served the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Not greasy, not too salty just fresh food, plentiful, warm and delicious. I had the fish sandwich and tots. The fish was nicely breaded and both were fried without being greasy. Huge portions that I couldn’t finish. My wife had a ruben on gluten free bread. It wasn’t terrible, but it seemed to lack flavor. Service was a little slow, as they were busy. The restaurant was not on the lake as we had expected, so not quite the experience we were looking for.

When we drive from Pennsylvania to Denver this is our regular first night’s dinner spot. It’s close to our hotel off I80/90, the staff and other diners are friendly and accommodating and the food is delicious and decent beer on tap. This trip I had the Reuben and a cup of potato ham soup. It was delicious, hot and more filling than i anticipated! . It’s worth the stop even if you’re passing through.

The Lake Shack on Snow Lake is a gem! I tried the beef Manhattan lunch special, and it was phenomenal. The portion was massive, with tender beef and flavorful gravy—comfort food at its finest. The bartender provided outstanding service, always attentive and friendly, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly faces all around. It’s rare to find a place with great food and such genuine hospitality. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy another meal there soon.

The Lake Shack in Fremont, IN, delivers big flavors in a laid-back, bar-style atmosphere. I ordered the French Dip, and I was blown away. The sandwich arrived quickly—just 10 minutes—and looked as fantastic as it tasted. The beef wasn’t shaved thin but had a perfect hand-sliced quality that was both tender and juicy. The au jus was absolutely phenomenal, rich and flavorful, adding a perfect touch to every bite. The fries were golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. The service was quick, and the place was clean and welcoming. Honestly, I wish this place were in my hometown because I’d be a regular.
