Was not expecting too much given the widely varying menu covering Chinese, Japanese Ramen, Thai and Vietnamese foods but was pleasantly surprised! The food here is pretty good and comes out fast from the kitchen. I tried the Seasame chicken plate, spicy edamame and Tonkatsu Ramen. I can recommend all the dishes. Ramen tasted great, the soup had flavor, maybe not as good as the places in San Jose, but not bad at all. Soft boiled egg and braised pork slices were on point. Spicy Edamame was sautéed in garlic chili oil which provided a nice light kick. Seasame chicken was nice and crispy fried with a side of rice and steamed broccoli. All in all a nice hearty meal at a reasonable price.

There isn’t A lot of options in Sanford, but when you got the feel for pho this is definitely the spot, staff are friendly ant attentive and go about and beyond. Things are changing in Sanford but I hope Hokkaido stays here forever!! ❤️

Don’t walk, run to this awesome little place! The atmosphere is perfect for those who love anime, or Tokyo style street food! We had the purple rice crab roll, 10/10. The crab wontons 9/10, the edamame 9/10 ( steamed well with coarse salt) ramen 8/10 by itself- ordered extra hot in temp. Classic ramen broth isn’t super hot, so we always ask for hotter broth. Jumped to a 9/10 for my son who added the chili oil and extra soy sauce. I had sesame chicken and overall liked it! 8/10 and my husband raved on the chicken fried rice! 10/10 Overall a delight! Amazing service, great prices and delicious food. Will be back for sure! Wish we lived closer!

Hokkaido is one our favorite restaurants. The food is always super good, the food comes out very quick and they are so nice in there. Would highly recommend!

My two yr old daughter, my wife and I went and it was very good. Good kids options the food was very good. Obviously In an older building but it was well decorated and clean. Bathroom are actual tile. The atmosphere was great. We will be back. The fried rice good and the soups were some of the best I’ve had and I’ve tried many pho places.

I would come regularly if I didn’t live so far from Sanford.
Service was quick, and the food was very tasty. The portions are generous. The decor is appealing. Despite my complaints below, coming here was a great experience.
Be careful on the exit lane if your car sits low because your bumper will scrape the road. I think it’s possible to avoid it by exiting from the neighboring business. The steak lunch special appears to be pork steak, which I don’t mind, but I would have ordered the Gyu Don rice bowl instead had I known. The matcha boba tea was fine, but for $6 I’d rather get it elsewhere.

Pho was absolutely amazing!! Flavorful broth and beef was so tender. Customer service was phenomenal!! Couldn’t ask for anything better in looking for an outstanding Pho spot!!

Excellent service. Food came out quick. Quality of food was good. I’m little picky of flavor in noodles. But can’t complain with excellent appetizers and fresh crisp salad. Would definitely bring my family back while I’m in Sanford.
