We came in by chance because we were craving sushi, and it turned into an unforgettable experience.
The special sushi was absolutely amazing, and the rolls and other dishes were all delicious as well.
What made the dinner even more special was the sushi chef’s kindness and friendly hospitality- it truly made us so happy !

I’ve driven by this spot a few times and we decided to try it last night. I’m glad we did! The sushi was actually really well prepared and had great taste. The miso soup was some of the best miso I’ve ever had and the Wagyu gyoza was really good!
You definitely have to be in the mood for the atmosphere and if you’re looking for a quiet, private dinner, this is not your spot. With that being said, the energy of the waitresses and the sushi chefs made the experience one to come back to.
We really enjoyed our time and plan to be back.

Happy. Came here on a whim, just looking for a “place to eat”. Sit at the bar!! I’m telling you. Ordered the 20 slices of sashimi, Hokkaido, and the sake avocado; nothing stood a chance. The bar chefs were freaking incredible. Not to mention, we got a little extra . The blue fin tuna was BDC (bomb dot com). 1000% would recommend this spot if you’re looking for a sush spot in San Mateo, or if you’re just looking for a chill place with a great atmosphere. 10/10!

I went here yesterday to celebrate my birthday. It was my first time, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out they have happy hour from 5 PM to 6 PM.
The food was amazing. Definitely the best sushi place in town! My favorite was the salmon skin sushi, an absolute must-try!
I really loved the vibe here. The staff, especially Elma, were super friendly and even shared a drink with me. I also enjoyed their hot sake. The three chefs were incredibly accommodating and joined in for a toast as well. I truly appreciate how they treat their customers. Itmade the experience extra special.

Small restaurant. Generous serving sizes in today’s economy. Everything was fresh and yummy! We especially enjoyed the baked crab hand roll and the poke tostados. The mixed sashimi was super fresh and clean tasting. Honestly would come back to order a bunch of hand rolls, tostados and sashimi next time around.

Awesome Happy Hour and happy staff a plus! Really good quick service. Been here 2x for HH and they don’t disappoint! Fresh nice cut sashimi fish, creative rolls and nice tapas selections. Started with 20 pc sashimi, followed with sake avo roll, shrimp with spicy mayo, teriyaki shrimp roll, pork chops and Brussels sprouts. AND sake of course! Nice spot with nice people and good food. Our new favorite sushi spot! The quality of fish is superior to any sushi spots we go to in the Bay Area. The vibe of the restaurant is super fun and the employees are so sweet and make sure you have a good time. We sat at the bar and will do the same next time. The tuna poke tostadas, Mt. Fuji roll, Beatles roll and chu toro nigiri were definitely our favorites but all of it was divine. 10/10 will definitely be coming back.

We came here for Happy Hour (5-6pm) and it was definitely worth it. It does get busy so come on time. The HH menu is pretty big. We got sashimi plate, couple rolls, and hamachi kama. All were great. Loved the crunchy spicy tuna roll because of the tiny crispy potato bits. Service was excellent and our waitresses were so kind and attentive. Even got a complimentary sake shot! Will def be back.
