The Catfish was good and the Jambalaya lacked flavor. I spent $24 on one full pound of Catfish, I think it’s ridiculous to charge for bread after I spent that much money. I was highly upset when they brought the $5 Jambalaya to my table it was TINY, it was like the size of a smaple. There was only one piece of shrimp in it.

Got a Cod meal with two sides (fries and mac n’ cheese) from the drive through.
I had never had Charlie D’s before but last time we stopped for gas and Big Boy Burger, I saw a guy with take out leaving Charlie D’s looking happy as a clam. I wanted to see what made him such a happy customer.
Now I know. The prices and serving sizes are great and the food tasted good.
Where else can you get a meal and two sizes for $13?
I really enjoyed the cod and the mac n’ cheese was especially good too.
It was served hot and even though I had a long drive home and hit every red light, it was still a good temperature when I got home.
All in all it was great food and great service.

It’s good. Really good. The fries seem to be cut from actual potatoes and made in house. Green beans were a bit over seasoned but still good. The cod was amazing but it definitely was not a half pound. It was fish nuggets. Corn bread was super dry. I mean I liked it overall but when we were done my husband was still hungry.

I tried the fish, wings, collard greens, and sweet potatoes—and oh my goodness, everything was absolutely delicious. This is true southern soul food: comforting, perfectly seasoned, and cooked with care.
The portion was generous—enough for a full meal, I had half and had leftovers for a second round. If you’re craving something hearty, flavorful, and soul-warming, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

This establishment takes FOREVER at the speaker as well as for the food. I understand the wait for fresh food but they go above and both that in the worst way. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt but I always am here at least for 30-40 mins ! It’s ridiculous. I literally waited 25 minutes for a side of yams! I don’t know if we were waiting for them to be grown and harvested or what. I hate this place now. It’s not even a the food it’s the overall experience.

With sweet potatoes (menu says canned but still good) and collard greens. (Catfish & Wings)
Everything was fine. I think the collard greens was a bit peppered?
Maybe I’m crazy. But everything was seasoned and tasted good!
Only issue I had was, I was still hungry after my dinner.

Its soooooo good and FRESH EVERYTIME!! Highly recommend ! I give them my money often. I dont have nothing bad to say about this place. I dont mind the wait for freshly cook delicious food!

They have an $8 lunch menu that includes two sides! Great catfish!! Everything is cooked to order. Nice & fresh. It’s an old building but they keep it clean inside and out. Lucille & RL did a great job!

This location is by far my favorite. The young ladies at drive through window are always kind. The foods always fresh and cooked to perfection. I truly appreciate the low salt option as I’m sensitive to salt. The okra is my favorite side, fried crispy just how I like them. Charlie D’s is my 1st and only choice for amazing fried fish!
