My wife and I quit eating here about 10 or more years ago because cleanliness was not on their checklist and we were growing tired of their menu.
We have been there twice in the last month. While the building is long in the tooth, it is clean. And, unlike decades ago, employee uniforms are clean and spotless. In addition, the employees are friendly and quick to serve.
The menu has expanded. There are many more choices. I’m looking forward to trying all the new items. Fish and More was my favorite years ago, but it seems to be missing a spice or two, now. However, I’m at the age when body parts fail to function as they did when I was younger–so, my tongue may be failing me.
If you gave up on them many years ago because you feared food poisoning, give them another chance. They’ve solved that problem.

I got the 3 piece chicken dinner with fries, coleslaw and hush puppies. Food was comparable to the price. I would eat here again.
In regards to the service, I would say the employee there was fantastic under pressure. It was close to closing time and there was only one employee (I think her name was Loretta.). She was quick to get my order complete and accurate, extremely friendly to all the customers, and was able to multitask efficiently.

Pulled up to drive thru and was asked to wait a minute. Six minutes later I drove away. They had no one else in line. Ridiculous.
**Update** 2 days after I posted this review I got a message from the corporate office. They apologized for the inconvenience and sent me some coupons. I just tried the restaurant again today and this time it was awesome. Everyone has a bad day and Long John Silver’s knows how to take care of customers when that happens.

I love the LJS! The food is always fresh and hot. The employees are so nice. In fact today, the young gentleman waiting on me was so patient as I stumbled over my words trying to order. He gave me time and even helped me get the best deal for my money. I go between this one and one in Akron and this one is BY FAR the better of the two.

I had the fish, chicken and shrimp platter. It came with two sides. I got french fries and Cole slaw. I only paid $10.99 plus tax. It was enough food to fill me up plus take some for lunch at work the next day. Really good and reasonable price. The lady at the drive thru window was very friendly and fast. I will definitely be going there again.

Good fish an chicken I’ve always liked it . Service was great they were helpful and kind. Did not try to rush you and answered any question I had. Has a drive threw with quick service. The building is kidda old an could stand a remodel. Its a great place to grab a quick bite. Kids enjoy it to.

Waited forever for my food and it was cold from the hush puppies to the fries. I ordered a meal and apparently a meal almost 9 bucks doesn’t come with a drink. They also skipped the delicious loose chips in the bottom of the box.

Ate a couple of days ago and experienced the worst food poisoning I ever have. They clearly do not cook the food properly or clean properly. I am telling you to stay the hell away from this place. It’s ridiculous that a place that serves food to the public wouldn’t follow proper protocols. How the hell did they even pass health inspection.

So I don’t know what’s going on with this place but you can no longer eat inside the establishment. The doors are locked. The restrictions with covid have been lifted so why remain closed for dinning? My family and I also stopped here 6 months ago ( over the summer ) and it too was closed for inside dinning. I’m done with this place.
