Cute little cafe with beautiful decor and indoor and outdoor patio seating. Went there with a good old neighbor of mine. We did enjoy the vibe and the ambiance. The waitress was attentive and suggested some menu items which turned out to be great I loved cold potato soup with links which felt really refreshing and light on the hot summer day we were having. The salad was fresh and tasty and the bread with goat cheese oh so fresh. The desert isn’t only good but absolutely beautifully presented. Will definitely be back for almonds croissants they are favorite

Wow! What a great find! We were down in this part of Encinitas and found Versailles Cafe through Google Maps. So glad we stopped in. The coffee is perfection, the food is fresh and well prepared, the produce is ripe and selected with care. Incredible! Everything was delicious.
Cute decor with lovely indoor outdoor seating options. You do feel as though you’ve found a tiny piece of French Heaven right here in north county! Even the chairs are right. This is a perfect stop for a quick coffee (of all sorts) and an amazing pastry, or stay awhile and enjoy a meal. Service was friendly and warm. Drinks and food arrived quickly with beautiful presentation. Portions are generous. We will definitely be back! I cannot wait to try the almond croissant everyone is raving about – but seriously ANYTHING here will be amazingPS – I will photograph the menu next visit and update this review.

We really loved this cute little place! The food was delicious and the deserts and pastries look so tasty, we will definitely be back! And apparently, if you come in the morning, you’ll get freshly baked items like croissants.
Highly recommend

Versaille is a lovely hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall in Encinitas. The decor is adorable and service was warm and friendly. The food was so high quality, you could tell that they use premium ingredients. I loved everything that I ate. The spinach and goat cheese quiche included a huge slice of goat cheese and was so fluffy, flavorful and tasty. The eggs Benedict had perfectly poached eggs and the potatoes were the right amount of crispiness. The pastries were decadent and so yummy. Overall a wonderful experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Simply the best eggs benedict I’ve ever had. That sprinkle of paprika on top is just chef’s kiss. I’ve also enjoyed the smoked salmon savory crepe and the pastries are quite good too.
Some of the desserts are very sweet so I would share it with a friend. The pistachio cloud is very good.

Such a charming little café with real French vibes! We come here for breakfast all the time, and everything is just amazing—from the drinks to the Eggs Benedict. The food is always fresh and full of flavor. And don’t even get me started on the desserts… if you love French pastries, this place is a dream. Lol. Highly recommend it for a romantic breakfast or just a cozy, delicious start to your day with that special French touch!

This cafe is a wonderful spot for pastries as well as breakfast sandwiches. I ordered breakfast sandwiches to take away. They were the most delicious croissant breakfast sandwiches I’ve had! They were packed with care, each came with potatoes or fruit and both were delicious. Some of the freshest fruit I’ve had at a restaurant and the eggs very fluffy and cooked beautifully. The coffee drinks were very nice, perfect for the airy choquettes, fun and tasty afternoon treat!

I had a great experience when I came for breakfast—everything was 5 stars and tasted really good. However, my dinner visit wasn’t as enjoyable. I tried the French Onion Soup, which I didn’t like, and the Croque Monsieur, which wasn’t great either, although the fries were delicious.
I’ve had French Onion Soup many times, but this one tasted different, with very mild flavors. I even added salt, but it didn’t improve the taste. Despite that, I’d still come back for lunch or dinner to try other dishes, and I’d definitely return for breakfast. It was just those two dinner items that didn’t work for me.

What a wonderful treat! We recently moved from Los Angeles and have been enjoying discovering new local spots—we’d heard great things about this café and it did not disappoint. The sandwiches, egg dishes, and pastries were all excellent, and I even loved my coffee (which says a lot after living in NYC and Europe). We truly enjoy supporting local businesses and highly recommend this lovely café.
