A good place to get your Asian food fix. Good taste and value for money.

Recommend the following dishes:
1. Green Curry – Chicken
2. Oyster Sauce Stir Fry – Beef
3. Sweet & Sour Prawns
4. Chicken Wings – Entrees

P.S. – sorry, most pics of food are taken when we are almost through. Only thought of doing this review after having our meal.

Thai Cromw is one of those places where time slows down in the best way. The food arrives fragrant, beautifully balanced, and deeply satisfying—every bite feels thoughtfully made. What truly sets the place apart is the waitress: warm, gentle, and genuinely kind, the kind of service that makes you smile without realizing it. The atmosphere is soft and cozy, quietly inviting you to stay a little longer. Not just a meal, but a comforting experience.

We stopped by here for our Asian food fix. On first glance, it looks promising. But it has been tapered down to suit the local taste. Noodles were overly salty. But overall, average food and can scratch the itch for now.

The yellow curry is too sweet, and the vegetables are still raw. I don’t know how other dishes tastes but didn’t recommend this dish.

A nice place for Asian food, the red curry goes very well with rice, both the one with coconut sauce and that with fried with eggs. Sizzling plate is doing a nice job in keeping the beef and vegetables hot at serving. Staff is nice with a sense of humour. We had a very pleasant dining experience here!

Our favorite restaurant in Cromwell so far with tasty dishes, wonderful staff and accommodating of a large group. Our favorites were the crispy chicken salad and chicken fried rice that were so good. Our kids also enjoyed their crispy wontons and one of our kids that especially likes bland food enjoyed the noodle soup that to the rest of us was boring. Overall, wonderful experience and we are sure to return.

The food here was delicious! I picked the Pineapple Chicken Fried Rice and it was pretty tasty! The rest of my family picked a few different dishes that we all shared, they all enjoyed it too. And the Staff were so friendly, kind and the service here was pretty fast too, but it could have also been fast because the restaurant wasn’t overly packed just yet by the time we went in for dinner. But there was still a steady stream of customers arriving. It just might not have been as busy since it was 2 days after Christmas, so most people were probably out of town with their families. But all in all, this place was lovely, the food was great and the Staff were perfectly lovely! I would definitely come back here again! ☺ Oh and P.S. My Aunty can’t eat onions because she has a bit of an allergic reaction to them. So we told the Staff to skip the onions in all of the dishes and they were so nice about it! All of the dishes had no onions so my Aunty could actually enjoy them too! ❤

Overall, we had a nice meal at Crom Thai. We were seated quickly but it did take some time to be asked for our order – it seemed it was more important to clear other tables than take our order. But once we eventually ordered, entrees were quick to come out and were delicious – I hate pork so particularly enjoyed the chicken wontons! So nice to be able to eat a whole wonton that didn’t have pork filling. The chicken satay sticks were good too. I then had a garlic stirfry main and hubby had a garlic seafood stirfry – they were both really good. Atmosphere is okay – mismatched chairs etc, but comfortable enough. Overall we enjoyed our dinner out here.
As we left, we noticed a cat in the restaurant out the back which I found strange and made me question their food safety and health standards!

Pretty good: Green Curry, Cashew Stir Fry.
The green curry is improvised with the available vegetables, so none of the little Thai brinjals. Request for the spicy version. It has just the right kick that keeps you coming back for more.
The phad Thai tastes of ketchup mostly if that is the kind you like.

It is delicious, authentic tasting Thai food, I can definitely tell you that! Our garlic stir fry with beef had a good balance of flavour and sauce. Great value too with quick, friendly service. Lunch specials are available.
