Went for breakfast before heading home to NY. If you want good, down home cooking, this is the place for you! Great service! They make you feel at home!
UPDATE: Back in the area for a funeral over the weekend, and I had to stop here for breakfast before going back to NY. As you can see, I ordered the same thing as I did 2 years ago. It did not disappoint!! Just as I remembered!! This is the place to go for good “comfort food”!!!!

Places like this are what I love about America, with its timelessness of charm, comfort, and warm-hearted staff. That’s enough on its own to make me wanna come back. In addition to this is of course the comfort food, but in addition to THAT is the myriad of both meal choices and specials. There’s something for everyone and the choices are broad. One special dish was haluski, a Polish dish of cabbage and buttered dough which was delicious, not featured on their regular menu. I love coming to places like this! Check them out!

Went here for a late breakfast for the first visit ever. Food was good, waitress however wasn’t very friendly or attentive. Prices are pretty reasonable, especially the daily specials. We will try again to see if next time we have a better experience.

I should have started with chocolate cake.
This spot is what you want a family restaurant to be: super clean, big menu with family favorites, generous portions, friendly service, dessert.
My meal: spaghetti and mballs piled high and topped w/ 2 fried eggs. Garlic buttered texas toast. Salad. Oj.
Food came fast and done right.
My only regret: not enough room for the most important part. Dessert.
Enjoy every minute with your fam and friends.
Cheers.

I love how vintage it looks. I got a turkey club sandwich with a cup of chilli. I will return next time I travel this way.

Ordered the $13.89 fish dinner (Fish, 2 sides & roll). The hand-battered fish, slaw & homemade bun were great. Haluski had wonderful homemade noodles but were’s the butter? Haluski is supposed to be made with butter.
And a cup of clam chowder is $4.29??? Wow.
Please put your prices on ur Lenten menu.
Waitress was nice but never came back to our table to ask how our food was.

We “eat out” several times a week at various restaurants. Cresson Springs is by far our favorite!
The food is always great, with a homemade quality. Tons of choices! The staff is always friendly and the cost/price for the quality is awesome!
HIGHLY recommended!!!

When traveling we always ❤️ to look for the small family owned places. This was a great find. My son had the chicken noodle soup and hasn’t stopped talking about. He has me trying to recreate it, but so far he told all my attempts have not even come close. Trying to plan another trip that will take us by here again just so he can get more of that soup .
