I’ve tried multiple different açaí and smoothie cafés in the Lansing/East Lansing area, and by far Jamba Juice is my favorite! I really appreciate the amount of food you get for the price — it’s usually around $13 max (including tax) for a large açaí bowl, which is such a great value.
There are so many ways to customize your bowl exactly how you like it. I usually get the açaí bowl with Nutella, peanut butter, added fruit, honey, and coconut flakes — and they’re always generous with the toppings. When you pay for something extra, you truly get extra.
I also love that you can add vitamins, energy boosts, protein, etc. to your order, whether it’s a bowl or a smoothie. It makes it easy to tailor everything to your goals. The fruit always tastes fresh, and the açaí base is thick, flavorful, beautiful, and just overall delicious.
The employees are consistently kind, quick, and helpful with recommendations, and I’ve had great experiences every time I’ve gone. Compared to Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Smoothie King, this is definitely where I’d recommend going for açaí bowls.
The only thing I wish is that this location had more food options — I believe other locations offer more variety, so hopefully that’s something the East Lansing store expands on in the future. Overall, highly recommend!

Today I went in to Aunties/Jamba after my last visit 5 months ago. My very first experience was horrible. However, today’s experience was completely different. 1st off, Audrey was so kind and friendly. She literally made everything fresh. Her and the gentleman working went above and beyond and were so tentative to what they were doing but still kept a line of great communication with me. The pretzels and smoothie were phenomenal.
