My husband was ranting and raving about this place and I don’t see why. The place was clean and had a warm feeling to it. The food: The fish had no flavor. The coleslaw was soupy and super sweet. Hush puppies were burnt. However the seasoning they provide on the table is actually good. The Long Islands were super tasty and extremely cheap (less than $5). Service was immaculate. Our waiter continued to check on us and another lady made small talk and kept us engaged. I wouldn’t visit again more so because I’m not initially a seafood person and I’d rather not just get a burger or chicken at a seafood place.

I have been to this Cajun restaurant a few times and it has always been good. The crawdads are seasoned perfectly and come with the usual sides of potatoes and corn and others, like sausage, can be added. They offer other Louisiana type foods like gumbo, etouffee, alligator, oysters, catfish, and more. The fried foods seemed to need a bit of salt but it was easy to fix this with salt on the table.
They have a lunch buffet during certain days of the week and sell most, if not everything offered on their menu in store. They also sell live crawdads and everything you need to do a boil at home as well. Good store and I will be back.

I just wanted to start off by saying I’m from Louisiana and it’s difficult to find a good or even decent restaurant who serves good Cajun food so I tried this place and I have to say that it’s as good as almost any Cajun restaurant in Louisiana, it brought me back to Louisiana while living in Arkansas, not only is the food delicious but the people working there are very nice and friendly, i will definitely be back

We visited this place as we are huge fans of Louisiana style food but this place was a great disappointment. Had ordered spicy shrimp and gumbo as an appetizer. The shrimp were smeared with a buttery Cajun sauce which was delicious. The portion size was okay. It was accompanied by a small piece of bread. The gumbo was okay not authentic but the taste was fine. For the main course we ordered crawfish etouffee which was a disaster. It was a huge plate of sticky rice which was chunky and bland, not enough seasoning and the crawfish were barely there. I couldn’t eat more than 2 spoonfuls. Absolutely terrible. The crawfish etouffee we had in new Orleans was delicious and this was no where near it.
The restaurant seating was not good, the waitress took away our forks and forgot to get us some new ones. We were left sitting till our food went cold. There were flies and the overall experience was uncomfortable.

One of my favorite things about living in Jonesboro. The grilled shrimp po-boy and the etouffee are the best possible lunch option in town. The sweet tea is fantastic and the home-made bread pudding is highly recommended as well. Every time I’ve been there the service has been excellent.

I went to The Cajun Cafe Delta Crawfish in Jonesboro to celebrate my graduation lunch, and they made it extra special. The staff had the whole restaurant clap for me and another graduate who was there — such a thoughtful and personal touch that really meant a lot.
Now let’s talk about the food — absolutely amazing! I had the blackened catfish, which was seasoned perfectly and honestly the biggest piece of fish I’ve ever seen served at a restaurant. I also tried the gator bites (so tender and flavorful), the boudin nuggets (seasoned just right and not dry at all), and we shared the Delta Poppers with crawfish tails and some fried pickles — both were outstanding!
If you’re anywhere near the area, this place is a must-visit. I’d go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!
