I came to Playa Bowls on a normal day. I left on a different timeline.
I thought I understood food. I was wrong. The first bite hit so hard I had to sit down and reassess every decision I’ve ever made. My internal monologue went silent out of pure respect.
This wasn’t just good—it was unsettlingly perfect. Every flavor arrived exactly when it was supposed to, like a symphony conducted by someone with absolute control over reality. I felt calm. Focused. Capable. For a brief moment, I understood how people start businesses and run marathons.

I’m a huge fan of this place for its fresh ingredients, speedy service, and delectable taste with every order received. There’s a comfy inviting corner with chairs surrounding a cozy fireplace, in case you get the craving to visit on a chillier day, and oftentimes this business opens sizable windows to let in the outdoors as well–which just adds to the beachy vibes sprinkled throughout an already fun, vibrant space. Our family has never had a mistake with any order, which is pretty impressive. 100% recommend trying this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

I had placed an online order in the app, it said the location was accepting orders and open. The order said it was ready for pick up then complete before we even had got there, we arrived about 20 minutes after I had placed my order to find nothing. No heads up no paper nothing just locked doors and lights turned off. We already paid for our food but the establishment was closed.

Amazing little place on main street with so many different combo options you can create and choose from. Everything is super fresh and made to order. Service was super fast and the decor was giving me beach vibes. I got the mix with passionfruit and the coconut craze absolutely delicious.

I love this place and shop here often, but the blonde woman who served me this morning had the worst attitude I’ve had in a long time. I ordered coconut in my bowl, and she thought I meant cacao. When I asked for coconut, her arrogant attitude and tone of voice made it clear I’d ordered something else. I usually don’t even leave negative reviews, but what pushed me over the edge was that when she made the change, she threw my bowl on the counter.

Ordered two açaí Bowls with gluten free granola. They did not give us the gluten free granola….and did not put all the ingredients in my smoothie. The offered to make us a new bowl….declined. Not going to come here anymore. I’m really tired of their younger work force being really unapologetic about their negligence of not listening to the Customer. Btw…they always get my order wrong. Spent 50…bummer.

This was my first time in, and the staff was incredible. They were very welcoming and helpful. I had no idea what to order, so they each recommended their favorites as well as popular customer orders. I ended up going with the Nica bowl and did half banana and half açaí base. I was not disappointed! The bowl was not only beautiful, but also refreshing and delicious. I will be coming back to try more! They have seating inside and outside (with umbrellas).

Excellent on all fronts – got the TIDE BOWL, sub pineapple for strawberry… Delicious! Was able to work using wifi, plenty of plugs at the window seats. Highly recommend!
