As always, amazing Indian. Never disappoints. Best in Andover hence its always busy. Yes sometimes there is a wait but thats because they’re popular and dont rush your order. Order in good time for when you want to eat. You won’t be disappointed!

It’s been a while since using the bengal but my god … the food was amazing , the portion size was more than adequate and delivered in less than the 45 mins they had stated. Food was piping hot and bloomin delicious… will definitely be using again

Always our go to for Indian takeaways in Andover. Some of our friends/family from other cities and towns prefer the New Bengal too. Food is always great with quick delivery. I recently requested a Biryani with extra spice which came perfectly! 10/10

I placed an order through Just Eat for the following items:
• Vindaloo [King Prawn] – £12.95 (changed to Keema upon request)
• Bombay Flame [Lamb Tikka] – £11.25
• Pilau Rice – £3.95
• Tandoori Roti – £1.95
• Chips – £3.85
• Cucumber Raita – £2.95
• Onion Bhaji – £5.95
• Samosa [Lamb] – £4.95
• Bengal Special Momos (5 pcs) – £5.95
Before placing the order, I called the restaurant to ask if I could change the King Prawn Vindaloo to a Keema Vindaloo. The gentleman I spoke to was extremely polite and helpful—excellent customer service and a real credit to the business.
As for the food—absolutely outstanding! My wife and I have tried most Indian restaurants in Andover, and The New Bengal Takeaway truly stands out above the rest. Every dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with authentic flavour. You can really taste the care and quality in their cooking.
This will definitely be our go-to Indian from now on. I just hope they continue to maintain this high standard, as so many places tend to slip over time. For now, though, everything deserves a solid 5 stars—delicious food, great service, and fantastic value!

ABSOLUTE 10/10 I have tried many Indians over the year and me and my family always always come back to the new bengal! There is nowhere like it, the attention to detail in the packaging, menus, containers and most importantly the flavour! The food was delivered piping hot and within the time frame given, no spillages or leaks. We opted for a lamb bhuna and a chicken tikka masala and these are just what we needed during these cold evenings. The lamb melted in my mouth like butter, the flavours were immense and the garlic naan was cooked to perfection. The chips were perfectly salted and the rice was super fresh. I couldn’t recommend this place more if I tried, The new bengal … I don’t know what id do without you! Thankyou

Ordered for the first time a few weeks back and now have a new favourite place! Food was delicious and the resturant even called to double check ingredients with me when I mentioned in my delivery that I had a severe allergy. Most resturants don’t bother.
