Angelo’s was an old school Italian experience…!! We had an excellent waiter who, after our meal, gave a little history on the restaurant.
My rigatoni with meat sauce and cold ricotta on the side was made to perfection, couldn’t have asked for a better meal…..!

Angelo’s in Clifton and Angelo’s in Lindhurst both deliver. Their salads and cooked pasta dishes are very good. Angelo’s single serve pizzaa are also worth giving a try. The 18″ deep dish pizzas are very filling. Although the pizza I had delivered had a sign of some healthy char (a good thing!) the crust was a little doughy. 5 minutes in my hot home oven fixed that! Ask for well done, my fault for not asking.

The food was delicious! It taste like someone’s Nonna is the chef in the kitchen! Everything is fresh! Theres definitely not frozen reheated food coming from this place. We had the manicotti, rigatoni with ricotta and a side of meatballs. Absolutely amazing. We didnt have dessert because we were too full. I highly recommend eating here but definitely make a reservation because it gets packed. The only downside was the difficulty finding a parking spot.

I’ve been to a lot of Italian restaurants and this one is definitely a highlight. It’s maintained an old school Italian charm that’s hard to come by these days. Food is delicious with generous serves – I highly recommend the calamari casserole (plus a side of linguini) but everything was great. Only downside was that service was a little abrupt but overall had a lovely experience here.

I’ve been a regular here since birth. This gem refuses to change its original classic atmosphere and spectacular Italian food. This is my favorite restaurant in the world – period. The pastas are all superb, the steak is great and their shrimp and biscuit with hot sauce is out of this world! Their hot tomato sauce is divine. I’ve had everything on the menu except the lobster tail the clam dishes but can attest that everything on the menu is amazing. The artichoke oreganata is excellent, nice wine menu, and amazing deserts. The servers are old school and will bend over backwards to make your experience the best. They take all COVID precautions. Can’t wait for the next opportunity I have to eat here again! Cheers!

My fiancé and I have been living in this area for three years and never ate inside any of the restaurants since we usually go to the city. In our efforts to support local we decided to try Angelo’s and it did not disappoint! I recently went to Milan for work but the food here is just as amazing! The decor really set the fine dining ambiance, we had the rigatoni w/ ricotta, linguine with claims, and the claims oreganata for appetizer. We couldn’t decide between a side of meatballs or sausage and so they gave us one of each as a single side.
The portions were huge and we devoured the fresh bread. We received the BEST service from our server, Alberto. This is the perfect spot for date night as the staff are so conscious of making you feel like you’re not rushed. Halfway through we had to take our food to go because we were stuffed but after a glass of Cabernet we decided to buy a bottle of Brunello because we hardly see those available at other restaurants. 10/10 we cannot wait to bring our parents here! Thank you Alberto!
