I haven’t been to saquella in so long after a few manager shifts that changed the quality of the service and food, however I came today and everything was amazing. The service from Leo was great, he’s very sweet and helpful. I got the “make your own breakfast” option with the three eggs, subbed my toast for extra salad, and got turkey sausage instead of bacon. Latte was also delicious. A++

Overall, I wouldn’t rush back here. The service was very slow, brought a sandwich with potatoes when we asked for salad which we had to send back, were out of their Thai peanut dressing and the cronut on their breakfast menu (we got a cinnamon roll instead that was super dry and were told they had no glaze, the most important part of a cinnamon roll…), and finally they forgot a side of sweet potatoes altogether. As for the quality of food, the home fries and the waffle were notably good. The chicken on the sandwich was dry, and the avocado tasted and looked store bought/not fresh or flavorful. It’s a nice spot to sit outside and the staff were nice, but I wouldn’t really be excited to eat there again any time soon

Thought i would give the place a try even though they had questionable reviews . Bad choice. Service was slow for us… not so much for other patrons. Food was OK. My husband didn’t finish his Waldorf chicken sandwich because let’s be honest it was visually very unappealing. The mimosas were good in the beginning but way too much OJ after the 2nd one and it took about 30 min to get two. $6 for tea that comes in a plastic bottle and a bit pricey. The last part and most noticeable was the owner walking around and greeting certain guests but not us…. guess we didn’t “fit” the part…. won’t come back for the $130 we spent for 3 ppl and 2 with only tea as the drinks…. disappointed for the area and the hype.

We visited today, but I wasn’t impressed. The service felt a little pushy — our waitress was taking plates away while we were still eating. The roll I ordered was nothing special. The music inside was so loud it was hard to have a conversation.

We had a fantastic breakfast at Saquella Italian Restaurant under the new ownership! I brought my wife, and we both loved every moment. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. The dessert was a delightful treat and made our meal even more memorable. The new owner is doing a great job keeping the quality high. We highly recommend Saquella to anyone looking for an amazing Italian breakfast experience. Can’t wait to return!

Oh, how I’ve missed my Saquella cookies. But guess what? They’re back! And as delicious as ever. Same with my husband’s apple pie-maybe even better. The service was fast and attentive and the owners came over a couple of times to be sure everything was good.

If you’re looking at Google reviews look at the latest reviews because this restaurant has only been open since October 28, 2024 under new management. The old reviews are not relevant anymore. We highly recommend and will be back.

Update-

I recently returned to Sequella Cafe and was surprised to find it under new management. While I was disappointed that the coffee I loved from the previous owners is gone, replaced with a less impressive brew, the cafe has seen some positive changes. The decor and table arrangements are a definite upgrade, creating a more inviting atmosphere. The menu is a mixed bag, with some appealing dishes and others that seem less inspired. I was also sad to see the fresh lemon blueberry scones have disappeared. However, the avocado toast was delicious, and The David omelette was excellent. Despite the coffee situation and the missing scones, I will likely return to explore more of the menu.

Second time around today… came at around 11am and there’s still some seat available outside. It was a nice weather. Ordered coffee and it was strong to our liking . Only note is the creamer or milk is in a small small plastic container that gets blown away when it’s windy so it can get messy.

The last time we were here, we enjoyed their open face salmon bruschetta and blueberry pancake. This time we had their avocado toast and Tuscan brioche. I also tried their lemon blueberry scone which was the highlight of the day. Avocado toast just okay as well as the Tuscan brioche . Will try something else next time. Service could have been better if someone go around for coffee refills.

We saw people ordering mimosas because of their unlimited refills. Probably I will try it next time but I like Bellini instead of mimosas. I believe they can add peach instead of orange juice to make the Bellini.

We will return of course.

Where’s the 6th star for me to add?!? BEST AUTHENTIC ITALIAN IN THE AREA!! Signore Lupo and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I’m a cacio e pepe fanatic (I make it every few weeks at home from scratch) and have been to Roma multiple times – Saquella’s cacio e pepe can’t be found unless you’re in Roma it’s that good. The all’amatriciana was wonderfully authentic and amazing. My main dish was the Veal which he puts a special twist with fried burrata on top. I can’t recommend this place more. Don’t waste your time with the inauthentic Italian places elsewhere.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! First let’s just say they have unlimited mimosas EVERYDAY. If that’s not the winner for you then let me talk about the food. It’s really good, reasonably priced, they have a lot of flavorful selections. And let me not start on the desserts Every time I go there I have to get at least 2 different desserts. My favorite server is Jean! She is the best, she looks out for you and makes sure your a smiling from ear to ear before you leave. She also makes sure you are never thirsty and having to keep calling her, thank you for your amazing service! Their place is definitely a must try!!

They proudly display a sign proclaiming “New Ownership and Management.” Oh, my goodness…
What a horrifying experience! We waited an entire hour for one of the most disappointing meals I’ve ever had in my lifetime. I ordered a cheeseburger, but what arrived was a mere variation of my request. The pictures speak for themselves!
After our long wait, we inquired about our food, only to be told by the waitress, “We’re working on it. By the way, we ran out of burger buns, so it will come with toast instead!” I was left speechless, shrugging in disbelief.
The burger itself was of questionable quality. The tomato? Absolutely shocking! It was supposed to be served with aioli, but instead, it was just an unidentifiable sauce. And the fries? Cold as ice!
Naturally, we voiced our concerns. They did bring us extra fries, but to our amusement, they were only slightly warmer and still of poor, frozen quality.
When the check arrived, there wasn’t even a discount offered! Let me tell you, folks—perhaps a career change is in order! For heaven’s sake!
