We had a party of 7(5 adults, 2 children) for a 12:30 lunch today before my grandad’s 2:00pm funeral service. We told the server we only had an hour and a half to eat. She acknowledged and said it will be fine. We ordered just a pizza and 3 sub sandwiches with fries. The pizza came out way before the rest of the food. The rest of the food came out 35 minutes later with only 10 minutes left before we had to leave. We had to tell them we needed our food to-go at that point. The pizza was delicious. But my steak and cheese sub was cold, there were 2 different types of fries, and the fries were dark brown and soggy as if the deep fryer grease needed to be filtered or changed- they didn’t taste good.
I wasn’t that perturbed until when we mentioned we needed the food to-go, she just kept saying “it’s coming now” and still INSISTED on bringing the food out. They showed zero concern for their delay, and quality of service. They’re 100% was not worth what they cost. I took a picture when I got home. I only had time to take one bite at the restaurant. Notice the 2 types of french fries lol- not a big deal really, but that’s a rookie move.
If they acknowledged their mistake and took responsibility, I wouldn’t have left a Google review. Accountability=growth, guys.

This place has been an amazing find! Our family of 6 loves pizza and we’ve tried probably over 100 places and this is our favorite pizza. The Sicilian pizza is our families go to and everyone likes it. The little boys ask for the square pizza, my wife’s loves the sour dough crust, perfectly cooked! I love the heavy mozzarella cheese which taste like straight mix and not a jack mix, the sauce is flavorful and perfectly balanced, the tops taste great!
Their pasta is fantastic as well btw.

I had to ask three separate questions just to order a drink and this lady just looking at me like im asking the wrong questions I asked for a cocktail menu she said they didn’t have one I looking for the liquor.. I dont see any and im asking do they sell it bc I see just wine and she’s just looking at me…like get out lol note taken …in an empty restaurant id be trying to sell all I can …maybe thats just me

Average Italian restaurant that could really use some updating. The food is okay and my favorite is the pizza. The wait staff does not follow through with attentiveness. It has been my experience where I have to ask for everything whether it’s the check, then the go box, then a bag. I know they’re trying not to incur the cost but the average price for a meal with a soda is around $22. That doesn’t include the tip.

We went out for our anniversary dinner here, we’d never been before! We had beautiful service from an Italian woman ( sorry I don’t recall your name) She was very attentive, yet she was not hovering and not in your face.
It was clean and not overdone with decor. We were shocked when our food came. The food was incredible and they even brought us a bread basket with garlic butter over the rolls. Everything was so good!!! We couldn’t eat all of our dinners, so we had leftovers the next night and the food and Alfredo noodles heated up as if it had just been served to us. Blew us Away! Thank Y’all for making excellent food. We will be back.

I can’t for the life of me understand the less than perfect reviews for Bella Italia. I order from here almost daily. I get huge, well seasoned, perfectly crafted, hot, fresh steak and cheese subs delivered EVERY SINGLE TIME! Antonio, the manager, is amazing and always stands behind his business, service, and food. I couldn’t say enough great things to describe this awesome restaurant!

Ordered the steak and cheese sub again today, and it was PERFECT!!! Perfect seasoning, perfect filling, perfect temp, and perfectly packed for delivery. The first time I ordered it was really good, but the sub was slightly dry. Today it was juicy too!

I ordered from Postmates for delivery, and this restaurant had a BOGO special for their subs, so I got a regular philly steak and cheese w/provolone and grilled onions. It comes with lettuce and tomato too but I asked they leave those off. It arrived quickly, it was fresh, hot, well packaged and wrapped In foil. Loads of meat, and grilled onions. It was really good, but a little dry. Overall definitely worth the money at regular price and I will definitely order again!

The pizza hero of Chesterfield! We ordered a cheese and also a pepperoni, sausage, onion and green pepper pizza and the whole family enjoyed it! 2 large pizzas fed 7 people and we are already craving more! We called an hour before close and they graciously took our order still and had it ready in less than 30 min. Very delicious i definitely recommend if you’re in the area and will be returning myself

ROACH IN MY FOOD!!
I used to go to Bella Italia many years ago. They used to have a club on the weekends that me and my friends enjoyed. Fast forward years later, I end up moving right down the street from there about a year and half ago. Not knowing if it was still a good place after all these years, I finally decided to check it out!! My husband ordered us food for our Saturday night. We were enjoying our night and I also commented how good the food taste. I was happy until I went to warm my leftovers and found a roach in my food!!!!!! I instantly felt sick and scared because that is the nastiest of bugs!!!!!!! Called my husband right away and he sent me a screen shot of the transaction so I could go there. When I called before heading over, the manager stated they don’t have roaches, then….. how was it in my food!! She offered me another dinner, absolutely not!! I want my money back for everything! I told her what was ordered, she states it only rang up for $35 but we paid a ticket of $50, $41 for food and $9 for tip. What kind of way are they charging people??? I was so furious and sick to my stomach I just took the $35 and left. I can’t believe these people served me food with a roach in it!!!!! This was horrific to say the least.

My pizza steak sandwhich was good. The tortellini dish my boyfriend got looked ify. There wasn’t anything special about the food. They should update with the times a bit with food and venue. Service was okay. We were the only two in the restaurant at 5pm. I think if an upgrade were to happen they may bring in more business.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Friendly owners. Best pizza in all of Richmond for sure, I’d go as far to say I’ve never in my life had better pizza anywhere in any state or country. The crust, the sauce, the pizza- all key elements are absolute perfection. Consistent across at least like 25 years.
