Great place to stop when you’re starving! A perfectly fried chicken sammie & crinkle fries hit the spot after a long morning of errands. They also offer self-serve complimentary water & lemonade. Cute ambiance for both indoor & outdoor seating.

They have a crayfish seasoned batter they use on the chicken that is OUTRAGEOUS!! SO yummy.
Comes with a dry pepper powder that is the leftovers from CRYSTAL hot sauce preparations that is super delicious and pairs so well with the chicken. Homemade biscuits are fluffy delicious

Delicious food! We had chicken tenders with their crawfish boil, fingerling potatoes, slaw and biscuits. Everything was fresh and really good. Their slaw is so fresh and light, very different from mayo heavy coleslaw. My kids enjoyed the tenders and biscuits And oh my gosh the house made pickles are divine The portions are good and prices very reasonable. We went later in the evening so it wasn’t too busy and speed of service was fine. Even so, it’s well worth the wait during busier times.

My coworkers and I checked out Picnic Provisions & Whiskey on State Street after work, it was our first time, and the place is super, super cute. Service was friendly but slow (looked like both the cashier and bartender were training). We ordered $8 margaritas from the drink special, but by the time we got our first round, everyone else already had their food. Drinks were really good though, just wish we had time for more!
I didn’t eat a full meal, but I did try the fries… meh. 5/10. Everyone else said their food was good, so I’ll definitely go back to give it another shot. Overall: adorable place, promising vibe, just hoping for a smoother experience next time!

such a cute place in uptown! they have pretty good deals and the food is also pretty good
personally i like the homestyle fried chicken better than the crawfish boil flavor but that’s personal preference i think haha
their sides and sauces are 10/10 too

Just wow! Run don’t walk here! Beyond exceptional chicken, just the right amount of spice, super crispy. And although they are thighs there is no bone but huge pieces so don’t over order like I did. lol Potato salad is amazing. I will be back. They need to put a location in Houston! Best fried chicken I’ve had in ages! And the service was very personal, exceptional. Lastly, you’re going to go crazy for their picnic pulp! Buy a jar before you leave too because you’re going to want this at home!!❤️

I think it was the best fried chicken I’ve had in New Orleans – maybe in the entire states! We ordered the chicken sandwich, fries and a kids menu. All was good and tasty.
The employees were kind and friendly and the atmosphere was good with appropriate music outside.
All in all, I can really recommend the restaurant.

Great fried chicken and affordable prices, but sheesh! It was dirty in there. Trash in the bottom of the silverware baskets, grease and gunk on the menus and tables, trash on the floor… This would be a great stop for an easy bite if it weren’t so filthy.

First time here and I just got the Spicy chicken Sammich and it was juicy, Krispy, and delicious I got it with the very tasty tater fingers with a sauce over it, but they were crispy on the outside and soft, on the inside put this one on your list, because I’m mos def coming back to try their famous fried chicken Saved on my Maps!

I had a perfect chicken biscuit and split a frozen pina colada with my boyfriend. The drink was delicious and super strong. We wanted to finish it, but also needed to be able to stand up!
It was a nice atmosphere to be able to sit and play a game of cards with my partner. We sat inside at a booth and loved that it was so open you still felt like you were outside.
It is counter service which I prefer these days and the clerk was friendly and gave good suggestions
Will be back. They also have a drink special for when its raining which is very hospitable for people who are out walking and want to take cover. They also offer picnic basket rental which I might use one day for Audoban Park.
