I really want to love this place, but it just doesn’t hit me right. The service was top notch, smiling faces and happy people who give you a really good serving of food. The food looks and tastes fresh, really nothing wrong with it honestly. I’m just bored with it I guess. I’m part middle eastern and they have middle eastern stuff, but maybe it’s just too Americanized for me. It’s basically just rice, meat, and salad fixings like lettuce, tomatoes, green pepper, and they have Jalapeños and olives you can add. You can have it in a bowl or a wrap. There are like 3 sauces, some kind of mayo sauce, a spicy BBQ, and a hot sauce. They also offer Tahini, which is what I got. Maybe it’s me, maybe I’m fixing it wrong? I didn’t add anything spicy except a side spicy BBQ pita. I called my son after eating here and he said, “don’t you remember you felt the same way last time we went together to that restaurant?” Honestly, I don’t remember, but it just didn’t hit me as exciting or really anything. I ate it, it was okay, didn’t taste bad, just BLAH! Please let me know if you eat here and enjoy it, what am I doing wrong?

Visit last night around 8 pm server black lady glasses little old was very rude and dry constantly on her phone with some female on speaker. Food was cold gyro meat was kind of dry black tiny pieces I ask her to gave me fresh she refused and lied it’s fresh even though other male staff was cutting fresh slices he was very clam and smiley face person . There white sauce was horrible I feel they are not using there franchise sauce it’s look like homemade mayo. What waste of money .STRINGLY RECOMMEND TO GO DAVIE LOCATION. This look like a private location using halal guys name and using sub standard food . Manger of the store some Indian or bangali lady in day shift is very nice

I had high hopes for this place, but my experience was honestly terrible. I ordered the chicken gyro platter, and the chicken was cold and completely dry. It felt like it had been sitting out for a while, not fresh at all.
To make things worse, I ordered a Coke, and it came with no ice—because apparently, they don’t have any. On top of that, it was completely flat, like it had been sitting open for hours.
Overall, a very disappointing meal. Cold, dry food and a flat drink with no ice? Definitely not worth the money.

I always crave Halal Guys. I wish it was closer to me! Note: open one in Palm Beach!
I’ve been to this location 2-3x now and I am always impressed with the size of the restaurant compared to the one in Davie. It’s so much bigger! I really enjoy the combo platter ($14 )and even though I am tempted with some of their other items on their menu, I personally have to stick to the combo platter just because it’s so hard to come by for me!
Walking in last night, they were making fresh chicken and told me it would be about a 5 minute wait. I watched them grill it and their timing was precise. It was exactly 5 minutes later as I got back into line and completed my order. The rice was dwindling down and I asked if they had fresh rice. They brought it out from the back and I was so glad I got two fresh items! Service was spot on and I was able to checkout quickly. Food was nonetheless to say on par as always.

Food is great.
Employee said no wings ( limited edition ) because fryer is not working. But I see them cooking something to it.
We dine in and phone rang, one of the employee said “Don’t answer it” . That’s wild thing to say specially if its not even busy yet. So imagine how much more on a busy times.

We got here around 6 pm and the food was okay. We love Halal Guys, we tried their beef gyros in different places like New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, and today we tried it here in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The beef was good, but not very good.
