Ahhhh the food……Fabulous! I made sure to research the best small Mexican food restaurants. I did NOT miss. I always wanted to try cactus and it was sautéed and topped with grilled seasoned onions. It’s called “ Nopales,”w/ grilled onions.
Can’t wait to go back to get those. Then I tried this sandwich with chorizo, “ Pambaza,” with everything on it. . I didn’t expect it to be good but honey it was so good! Shout out to the cooks and founder.
I can’t wait to go back!! Ya’ll forget them big names overpriced bland restaurants in ft worth y’all keep going to. THIS is my new forever Mexican restaurant gem!! Please support this business. I plan on coming back very soon.. So good. Hot, well seasoned and appetizing.
I ate that sandwich but forgot to take a pic. It was that good!

Some of the best huevos rancheros and best Mexican coffee I’ve ever had. Make sure to order a “cafe” in the morning. Has the cinnamon and sugar already in it.

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant where every meal served has true flavor of Mexico… Food is mouthwatering, tasty and I just have to keep coming back. My only complaint is I have to drive 20 minutes and I’m happy every time. Customers for 2 years so far. Love the coffee!

Homemade authentic Mexican food. The birria tacos were a a very good size. The torta cubana is a great size too. Everything was delicious. Good bang for your buck.

I like going to small businesses for more authentic Mexican food. The food was fresh, delicious and filling. The prices were more than reasonable. You can dine in but it seems like most people order out. I’d visit again.

This place is so legit! We look for places like this, family run spots. The gorditas were big, super fresh, very homemade. 5 star plus easy. And the food was served hot, too hot to eat at first. This is a big thing for me. Totally recommend.

This was my first time trying this restaurant and I was not impressed. When I first walked in and sat down, I noticed that the place was filthy. That should’ve been my first clue to get out of there. I ordered Chilaquiles and they were probably the worst that I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Benitos is an original since I can remember. The longest standing restaurant of all restaurants on hemphill st. All freshly cooked homemade food. Try em, you’ll agree.

I looked up tacos near my Dr’s office. This one had good reviews, plus supporting a small local business! Count me in!
I am so HAPPY I did!
I chose to eat in instead of taking it to go.
GREAT portions, GREAT taste, GREAT EVERYTHING!!
THANK YOU BENITOS!
