Bern’s Tavern is one of the oldest Saloons in the State of Washington. Located in the Heart of Wine Country, Prosser, the saloon opened in 1904 under the name of A.D. Patterson, and later, turned cigar store during prohibition. Undoubtedly, it had ties to the old underground where Chinese Opium Dens once lingered throughout the town. In the 40’s Bern Mercer changed the name to Bern’s Tavern and created the infamous Bern’s Burger. The name has stuck, as it is known to all. The pub food is yummy and the environment resembles a museum filled with photos, instruments, antiques, and other town history. Bern’s is now a full bar and only those of age 21 and older may enter. There are occasional nights of a variety of entertainment. Lots of FUN!

Very accessible entrances and parking spots. Will be back.
Not a ton of room, in front, but opens up in the back.
I can’t say enough about my experiences here, but I will be a regular when work brings me to the area again!
