If you are looking for a true and authentic Filipino breakfast, this place ain’t it. Rice has no flavor, no garlic flavor, and the longanisa tasted like cardboard. Service is very slow, with only one service worker. Never again.

Today between lunch and dinner or perhaps early supper, sweet sausages sariwang longanisa with kare kare beef stew with long beans eggplant in peanut sauce and bagoong (the caviar of the Philippines) sarsi, and calamansi citrus juice. Ay! Ka LAMI!

For those who love Filipino food on the run, try Grill City. They’re all located inside Seafood city Grocery Stores. We tried their food on many occasions. The Pork BBQ Classic Plate is a great meal. The pork is tender juicy and full of flavor.
Grilled Pompino is another favorite! Why go through the hassle of cleaning fish and grilling it? Get it here!!!!!!
The Kare Kare is great with a rich peanut sauce.
I’m a fan of bittermelon. It’s bitter but absolutely healthy for you. They scamble it up with egg.
The Pancit is Masarap!! it’s a noodle dish with pork.
Pretty much all their food is good.

MUCH better than Chow King, talaga!! Excellent selection. Their BBQ is big and perfectly cooked. Wish they had one in Fort Worth

This place is located inside Seafood City. We tried their chicken bbq stick and it tasted really good. Their Kare Kare, however, didn’t taste like Kare Kare at all. I haven’t tried their other dishes yet. We paid $8.99 for the 2 item combo. A little on the higher end for what you get (one bbq stick and a small cup of entree with 2 large scoops of rice)

Filipino foods on display. Just like back in the philippines. Ordered a lot with tita. Lots of options. Easier to order since all talk in tagalog. Its also loacted conviniently inside the supermarket

Donna , the cashier lady at this Carson City location is one of the nicest staff employees at Grill City Seafood City . She’s very courteous and customer oriented; always has a great attitude with a big smile….goes a long way , especially if there’s a long line
and you’re starving!
Left one star off only due to pricing issues… Why does Grill City charge an extra $1 for seafood selections? You’re called “Seafood” City? SMH…

This place was an utter disappointment.
Palabok – fishy and dry. I’ve never had fish in palabok before. Shrimp, yes. Pieces of yesterday’s fish…never.
Lumpia – bland and tough. I almost lost a filling trying to chew.
Chicken BBQ – the taste was decent, but cold.
Can we talk about how friendly the staff was? They weren’t. A smile and a thank you comes a long way people.
One more thing…overpriced!
Stay away from this place.
Oh…we got sick two hours after eating.
They’ve hit every awful point on how NOT to be a restaurant.

Obtained the poorest of service at Grill City. Waited in line and got skipped 2 times, for two customers speaking fillipino. I asked for an item, which was told was out, then got skipped again!! It was the first time trying to get food there. Felt bad that my daughter was there with me and she felt discriminated.
